Hello, I'm currently trying to work out Sumpners method for calculationg the lux levels on indiviudal planes such as walls. Now, the equation is extremely simple: E = Overall Lumens of all fitting/(Area x (1-R).
However, in the SLL code answers have been given.
The answer i should be looking for is 132 lux. The overall Lumens is 14352, the area of the plane is 24, and the reflection is 0.7.
Therefore:
14352/(24(1-0.7)) = 1993.3 lumens ?
or
14352/(98(1-0.7))
which gives 488 lux, which is more likely but is still not correct.
(98 is the total area)
Cheers.
