I'm a university student, working on a project I want to record and play back several voices using ISD4004 which is a recording chipcorder & ATmega8A microcontroller & potentiometer & ... Can anybody help me doing this project? I've written a program but I didn't get the desired result.

Actually I've written the code as the datasheet recommended, would you take a look at that and tell me what would the problem be?

What is the error code? Can you show a diagram of all your connections? So little information given.
