Output Specifications of Automatic voltage Stabiliser (0.75KVA)

sir,

i want to know the ouput voltage nature of the Automatic voltage stabiliser(0.75KVA) attached in the image file

 

the specification mentioned by the manufacturer is 

output:220V+/-9% 

but when tested by digital multimeter(KROS-S DT830D DIGITAL MULTIMETER) in its respective ac voltage sockets shows corresponding readings:

a)750V socket: reading ->0.1

b)200V socket: reading -> 0.3

 

so i am confused about the nature of its output

please explain me its nature of output

i mean whether it is AC,or a mixture of AC and DC ?

and if AC then what is its output voltage??

and how will i find it through the Multimeter?????????????????

The output of an Automatic Voltage Stabilizer is an AC.

to measure the AC Voltage,
you can refer to this datasheet of KROS-S DT830D DIGITAL MULTIMETER :

and go to the "AC VOLTAGE MEASURE" part.

You can find some set of instructions on how to measure using that multi meter.

In your manual provided by you in the above link
it is showing that 830D is unable to compute hFE feature
but in the manual provided by the manufacturer when i bought the Multimeter
it is given that 830D is capable of computing hFE feature
below i have attached an image for the same from manufacturer manual

so i am confused now
whether 830D series of Multimeter is capable of calculating hFE feature of Transistor or not????????????

Your multimeter is capable of measuring hFE

if your multimeter looks like in the pictured attached

First of all put your meter on AC 500v or 1000v check wether you are able to read any voltage around 200 to 230v on any of your domestic plug points if yes then there is some problem with your stablizer. Check the fuse,mains cord etc. If all these are ok there is some problem with your relay driving ckt or even the relays. some times it will be the defect of the time delay ckt. usually a 470 mfd or a1000 mfd cap controls the delay timings check the + of any cap going to the base of any transistor if so remove the + of the cap from the base and switch on the stablizer it should come on with out any delay. Any service work should be carried out after disconnecting the mains cord from the mains power line because live voltage will be present on some portion of the pcb and the relay contacts while handling with your bare hands.
