i am gopinath B.E 2 year student. I prepare tesla coil for my college competion.but it does not work .i checked the connection lot .for my knowledge i cant find what is the problem in tha. so please kindly comment your qurie

Can you post a schematic or a link to the plans you used?

Do you have any ideal what the waveform looks like on the primary coil?

While I would recommend more physical separation between the primary and the secondary and possibly more turns on the primary, these issues should not prevent it from working if it was built according to plan.
