I am looking for information around calculations to be done when sizing a softstarter. Any help will be appreciated.
The motor I want to apply this to is a 700kW 3.3kV 166.4 A 10 pole squirrel cage induction motor connected to a venitilation fan. Full load torque 11253Nm.
Any formulas or information would help a lot.

Hi Isabel-I think you can tell from the silence that you've asked the ONLY question that none of us know how to answer. All is not lost, though. I did find a Softstarter Handbook from ABB that seems to have lots of helpful information in it.Look on page 27 (PDF page 33). Does this answer your question?-Rick
