Fellow electricians, i would like to know if someone can clarify a doubt I have regarding AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) in a Chinese 220/380V diesel generator, I think of 320KVA. A collegue of mine has a problem regarding diode replacements, and i was wondering if one can fabricate something because we're unable to find the same elements in the market, only importing foreign ones. Is it possible? Or you need more information?

Definitely need more information. A circuit diagram would be first prize, along with an indication as to what diode has failed. Failing that a picture of the circuit board might help.
