I am looking for a calibrated acoustic device that can measure sound pressure level in dBA. We have one on hand which is a hand held sound meter but it only gives a total sound pressure level, rather than telling us the SPL of individual frequencies. Can you please let me know a good tool out in the market that we can buy for our type of acoustic measurement mentioned above?
This is for a small embedded device which generates audio tones (like alarm signals) to alert users.
