Good evening. I have a Seko LT 600 intercom, and I was interested in replacing it. I bought a Cyfral Smart 5P from Amazon; however, after successfully installing it, it was very quiet and the buzzing sound was inaudible. Everything else worked, although the microphone was pretty quiet (it is possible that this was just placebo). I am unsure whether I did something wrong or whether it was because it was a cheaper intercom. I am unsure why this is happening. I ended up putting back the old intercom, and I'm waiting to see whether this can be fixed or if it would be better to return the product and buy something else. I've attached some photos of the old intercom and the connected new intercom. If you have any questions, do let me know. I thank you for your time and help; it is truly appreciated.

AI: Could you please describe how you connected the wires from your building’s system to the Cyfral Smart 5P? For example, did you match the wire colors or follow a specific wiring diagram?
I followed the manual and connected T3 (Common) to MASA, T6 (Call) to RING, T2 (Speaker) to SPK, T1 (Microphone) to MIC, and the Green button wire to SW1.
AI: Did you check if the Cyfral Smart 5P is fully compatible with your building’s intercom system (in terms of wiring type, voltage, or signaling method)?
I ensured that it is compatible with the 4 N configuration and tested it after connecting everything.

You have bought the wrong uniphone. A more appropriate one would be Cyfral Smart 5pg, where the last letter 'g' stands for built-in generator.

As colleague Ircys says you must have a SMART 5PG, what exactly did you order see in the AMAZON shopping cart maybe you ordered a SMART 5PG and received a SMART 5P, they made a mistake or there was a SMART 5P in the box.

Thank you for the reply. It seems you are spot on. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find the PG version anywhere, so I'll just be returning the one I have and looking for another one. If you have any suggestions or tips, let me know. Thank you for the help!

Thank you for the reply. The one I ordered was indeed the 5P, so it wasn't a mistaken order or anything. I was unaware that I needed the 5PG version. I can't find the PG version anywhere, unfortunately, so I'll just have to look for alternatives. Thank you for the help!

You can call Cyfral and ask if they will send you such a Smarta 5PG board

Look for an uniphone with a built-in generator. If you can't find a Cyfral Smart 5pg, then there may be a Fermax ref 3431 for example
