Hi guys,
On Vaillant, for F61 error, in more than 90% of cases it is a PCB fault. If it is the case, you just have to change the 470 µF capacitors (C29 and C30) to new ones. It will cost you only €1, and there is no need to change the whole card. If your card is more than 10 years old, it is certainly the case.
The other 10% is a gas-valve problem, so see a pro for that.
Sincerely
AI: Can you specify which Vaillant boiler model(s) this fix applies to?
AuroCompact and other models: PCBs are nearly all the same
AI: Are you sharing this as advice for others, or are you looking for confirmation or further help with your own boiler?
Yes, solution to repair easily.
