    Hello everyone,

I picked up a broken DeLonghi Dinamica ECAM 350.55.B to see if I could fix it up and use it. Right now, it's stuck in a descaling loop. It finishes the descaling part just fine, but the second it tries to switch over to the rinsing cycle, it hits me with a "General Alarm" error.

Here is what I’ve done and tested so far:
    - Parts replaced: Put in a brand new flow meter and a new motor board.
    - Maintenance: Took the whole machine apart, cleaned it out completely, and replaced all the seals/joints.
    - The motor: The brewing unit motor isn't getting any power. I bench-tested the motor by jumping it directly with external power, and it spins, so I am assuming that the motor itself is fine.
    - Test mode: When running the electric test in test mode, the grinder works and then I hear the relay ticking, but after about 30 sec or more, the general alarm shows again. I also tried to move the brewing unit up or down in test mode, nothing moves and the General Alarm pops up immediately.

I am currently stuck and I really appreciate your help.

    Thank you.
Can you check whether the brew drive/mechanism moves freely by hand, and in test mode do the brew unit position sensors/switches (top/bottom home position) actually change state when you move it?
The drive moves freely by hand. I noticed when moving the brew drive to the bottom the error directly appears.
Did the machine show the exact same behavior before you replaced the motor board, and do you get any more specific error info in service/test mode besides just “General Alarm”?
Yes, it shows the same exact behavior before and after replacing the motor board. No, I didn't get more specific error info
