Hello, I'm not a Polish speaker (feel free to delete the topic, or reply to me in Polish!), but I've used this, as well as other forums, countless times when repairing my De'Longhi's and it made me know a lot about repairing these machines. But I've hit a massive roadblock with my Dinamica ECAM350.55.B, where the brew group parked in the lowest position and threw a "General Alarm" error. Unplugging and replugging will make the machine try to start up (you hear the pump buzzing for a few seconds), then the brew group hits the bottom, a relay clicks, the brew group doesn't go up, and "General Alarm" pops up again. Sometimes the machine does start up, but not anymore.

-Both NTCs are good, and installing two new ones gives the same error
-Lower and upper limit switches are good, upper one testing OK for continuity and lower one being detected in the split second of test mode that the machine allows me to use before throwing the error again
-There's continuity on both thermal cutoffs
-Turning the transmission away so the brew group goes away from the bottom switch, then turning the machine back on, will cause the brew group to go down again, hit the lower limit switch, and throw the General Alarm again.
-The machine has less than 200 drinks over its life.
-Replacing the motor with a known good one did not solve the issue, neither did replacing the filter board. Sometimes, before "General Alarm", I get "Insert infuser assembly" followed by the General Alarm

Only thing I haven't tested yet is the reed board; could it be the culprit?

Many thanks and happy coffee drinking

    Alex

    Hi.
    1. Replace the upper microswitch on the MECHANICS VALVE.
    2. Reset the encoder.

    Hello,
    Thank you for the help!

I've done it to no avail

However, when taking the machine apart, I found a piece of the chassis was broken, possibly making a screw get in the way of the transmission. Will try to repair the chassis

    Hello
Please add a photo of the broken part. There should be no foreign objects in the transmission threads. (grains, screws, etc.)
