    Hello,

What would be the best way to diagnose random Wi-Fi disconnects on a Windows 11 computer?

The connection works normally most of the time, but occasionally drops for a few seconds and then reconnects automatically. Other devices on the same network seem to work normally.

Would you start by checking the Wi-Fi adapter drivers, router logs, power-saving settings, or something else?

    Thanks for any suggestions.

To diagnose random Wi-Fi disconnections in Windows 11, reset the network stack on your system, disable power-saving settings for the wireless adapter in Device Manager, and update the drivers. You can find the official troubleshooting steps in Microsoft Support. Basic diagnostic steps. Network reset: Open Settings -> Network & Internet -> Advanced network settings -> Reset network to restore default settings. Device Manager: Locate the Wi-Fi adapter, click on Properties, go to the Power Management tab and uncheck the option ‘Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power’. Drivers: Download the latest driver directly from the laptop or graphics card manufacturer’s website (Intel, Realtek, MediaTek). Network commands: Run Command Prompt as an administrator and type ipconfig /release, followed by ipconfig /renew.
