    Hello
    I mean something like this:

    Table of Contents.
    1. Point one.
    1.1. First bullet
    1.2. Second bullet
    2. The second point.
    2.1. First bullet
    2.2. Second bullet.
    ......
    ......
    e.t.c.

    development of points:

    1. Point one.
content content content content content content content
content content content content content content content
    1.1. First bullet.
content content content content content content content
content content content content content content content
    1.2. Second bullet.
content content content content content content content
content content content content content content content
    2. The second point.
content content content content content content content
content content content content content content content
    2.1 Second bullet
content content content content content content content
content content content content content content content
    2.2. Second bullet.
content content content content content content content
content content content content content content content

My question: I would like to make such links that if I click, for example, on "First point", it will take me to "First point expansion".
You do something with the headers or costaki, but I don't know what's going on. Could you explain to me how it's done?
    best regards

I use OpenOffice and with me it is like this - you do insert tabs in places where you want to jump from the menu - and in the menu you do from the place where you want to jump insert a reference to a specific tab - in the word maybe it is different!

Well, the only thing is that here you can see the link when hovering over the Point from the menu (you can see the paw), and I saw such tabs in someone that normally a non-distinctive sentence can be seen at a given point and after clicking twice, it takes us to the target point (it does not no footprint). It is done with headings somehow, but I don't work out, if I do headers, it takes any part of the text to add to the given point
I also have an open office and it's much easier there, but I have to do it in Word.

Surely you can make a table of contents from the headings of the paragraphs and it will have links.

In the help under the link you have everything well described.

You must use headings in your text.
    1. Convert all titles to headings (mark the entire title and select a heading in the style field (heading 1 is superior to 2 etc.).
Then you choose (Word 2002) Insert> Reference> Index and Tables> Table of Contents. In other versions of Word, you have to look for the table of contents ... option.
    best regards

oki toki, I already made these links - I put tabs and then links to them. Because when I was taking the headlines, I was sausage everything (the first page added to the table of contents because there are also headings).
But one more thing; How to do this page numbering in the table of contents:

    Table of Contents:
    1. Text ............................................... ................... 3
    3. Text ............................................... ................... 6
    3. Text ............................................... ................... 16
    e.t.c.
    e.t.c.

because when I choose the "inddex and lists" option, this message crashes to me:
"Error! No table of contents entries found."

You can make an automatic table of contents ONLY if you have some numbered elements in the text, i.e. you use headings.
You can also try to create numbered elements, e.g.> captions for drawings (modify their name), and then insert> reference and lists> list of figures

Who told you such stupid things?

Simply select separate formatting styles for the header texts, then go to the indexes and tables command and for your own styles, specify the level of the table of contents (options tab), deleting the levels of the default styles if you do not use them. As for formatting the table of contents, just set the tablation leaders (also in the options window).

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around creating a structured Table of Contents (TOC) in Microsoft Word, similar to the format requested by the user. Participants suggest using headings to generate an automatic TOC with links. Key steps include converting titles to heading styles, accessing the TOC feature through the Insert menu, and ensuring that numbered elements are present in the text for proper functionality. Some users mention challenges with page numbering in the TOC and errors related to missing entries, while others provide solutions involving custom styles and tabulation leaders for formatting. The conversation also touches on comparisons with OpenOffice, where users find the process easier.
