    Hello

I cannot take a screenshot with the Print Screen key.
Once, after pressing Print Screen, I entered, for example, Paint and pasted a screenshot. Now, however, I can not do that, neither in Paint nor in any other program "paste" is not active.

Maybe someone has encountered this problem and knows how to fix it?

check other keys. I have the inscriptions mixed up and Pause Break works like PrtSc. And so it was originally on the keyboard

For me, the subtitles are not mixed up. The Print Screen key previously worked as normal. The key is also not damaged. When I press it in Word, the print window pops up.

Well, you have printing attached to it instead of Print Screen, because normally when you press it in Word, nothing happens, i.e. it takes a screenshot to the clipboard and no print window pops up.

maybe if you have the auto-start office assistant turned on, turn it off. this is my first thought.

    Office assistant? What's this?
I don't see anything like that on the highway.

I know it may be ridiculous, but I was just struggling with the same problem and ....
I checked if PrintScreen is not connected to the printing function, so I tried it on the first open program. And guess what? The normal function of the key is unlocked, so now I can take screenshots as usual.
Well, unless it's a coincidence, but it's worth trying :)

Topic summary

The user is experiencing issues with the Print Screen key, which no longer allows them to take screenshots or paste them into applications like Paint. Initial suggestions included checking if the Print Screen key is misconfigured or if it is linked to a printing function instead of its intended screenshot function. The user confirmed that the key previously worked correctly and is not damaged. Further advice included disabling any auto-start features that might interfere with the key's functionality. A successful resolution was reported by another user who found that using the Print Screen key in a different program restored its normal function, suggesting that the issue may be program-specific.
