As much as the F25 gearbox, gear lever with rod, bracket, flywheel with clutch, clutch cable and pedals with bracket. The cost is PLN 1200-2000 (depending on how much you find the chest). Cables from the computer, what goes to the switch next to the gear lever, bridge it as for N, what would light, and that's it ... You can safely remove the box controller and the harness.

I have a choice of replacing my Vectra 2.0 115km lpg with a V6 with an automatic gearbox, I do not know if such an interest is worth it

Don't change. He swapped the hatchet for a stick. Cheers. 2.5 is rubbish.

It depends what you care about :) because the v6 is a V-ka, which is almost 2 times more "equipment" more burns and more expensive and labor-intensive in repairs, but it has a good kick. As for the machine, if you drive a little, you will not want to go back to the manual anymore. If you want it to be cheap, leave what you have. As for the cover of the box, if you want to play yourself, it will pay off, but if you want to outsource it to someone, it does not pay off to pack your money in such an old car. Also remember that the machine is more expensive because you need to replace the oil in it, which is not cheap at all!

2.5 in these Vectra does not have a good reputation - there are problems with it.
And after the gearbox to the manual gearbox, you should also reprogram the computer (throw out of memory that it worked with the automatic gearbox) so that it does not have higher or jumping idle speed.

the oil in the machine is not changed, only the filter is eternal.

"Specialist" since there are "eternal" oils in the vending machines - take this secret away from me because I do so much and I didn't know anything about it. But maybe I have too little knowledge and experience to deal with such "nonsense".

    Only case I've heard of:
Oil in the Tiptronic gearbox in the BMW E46, BMW Longlife - they never change at the Dealership, because after the exchange, the gearbox ends quickly (a friend after buying a BMW 3 E46 2.0 car, the automatic machine went to the Dealership for exchange and you told him not to change the oil if not wants to have problems with the gearbox)

In other machines, replacement with the filter every 50,000 km or according to the service manual.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the cost and considerations of converting a Vectra A V6 from an automatic to a manual gearbox. The estimated cost for the conversion ranges from PLN 1200 to 2000, which includes components such as the F25 gearbox, gear lever, flywheel, clutch, and necessary cables. Participants express concerns about the reliability of the V6 engine, particularly the 2.5 variant, and the potential complications of reprogramming the vehicle's computer post-conversion. Some users advise against the conversion, citing the higher maintenance costs and the preference for automatic transmission for ease of driving. The conversation also touches on the longevity of automatic transmission oils and the importance of regular maintenance.
