The problem as in the subject. Correct me if I'm wrong - the espresso machine is airy. Venting - turn the steam knob to the left until the machine is vented - it does not work (i.e. neither water nor steam flows). When I press the hot water button - hot water comes out of the nozzle, but the display shows Ventilate all the time. Of course, other functions don't work. Does this machine have two water pumps or one?

To bleed air, you need to turn on the "hot water" function and wait a little. If hot water flows and the word ventilate does not disappear, it means that the water flow meter is not working properly. It needs to be disassembled and cleaned.

Not only the flowmeter, unfortunately. It turned out that someone had incorrectly (not in this place) connected the cables from the flow meter.
Unfortunately, the repair is not so good - can anyone tell me what is the resistance of the solenoid coil controlling the charging flap? Because probably in the copy I repaired, the coil refused to cooperate further. To be precise, it is an electromagnet with the designation 9129.A21.00A.

You can connect the coil briefly to 230V and check if it opens the flap.

The coil has infinite resistance - so there is probably nothing to connect.

    Hello.
-about 300 ohm measured with a meter ..... I have a few kg of such coils :-)

If I can connect. Buddy, I have the same problem, I disassembled the first part and decalcified and folded. The pump is working, I want to vent by turning on hot water, I am waiting, the pump is making noise, the water in the main is there but it does not flow. I tried to create pressure with a syringe but something is blocking, I checked the electromagnets, unscrewed, cleaned and no reaction. In the descaling and rinsing mode, the water flows through the main as it should. Everything is clear and the screen says ventilate.

Topic summary

The Saeco Royal Espresso Machine is experiencing a persistent "VENTILATE" display despite attempts to troubleshoot. Users suggest bleeding air by activating the hot water function, but if water flows and the display remains unchanged, the issue may lie with the flow meter, which could require disassembly and cleaning. Further complications arose when incorrect cable connections were identified, leading to potential solenoid coil failure. Users discussed measuring the resistance of the solenoid coil, with one reporting infinite resistance, indicating a malfunction. Others noted that while the pump operates, water does not flow, suggesting a blockage or further issues with the electromagnets.
