I have a question, has anyone used this charger? According to the instructions for the charger, the charging process is signaled by a red diode that glows constantly. Once charged, it lights up green. And my charger either lights up or flashes a red diode.
I tested the discharge and charge option - it worked properly.
I tried again with the second battery - it was flashing.
After some time, I tried again.
I put one cell in the charger - it charges and shows nice signals with constant light.
I added the second one - after a minute the diode started flashing.
I changed places - both diodes are blinking.
Normally, if I'm lucky, it takes about 4-6 hours to charge the battery. However, when the charger enters the "flashing" state after 8 hours, it is still flashing and I cannot wait for the green light to appear.

What could this be about? I haven't found any information anywhere about what the flashing LED means.

Hello! I have such a charger, but I have not noticed such a symptom, but I have 2 batteries that do not want to start charging at all, i.e. no diode is lit. By the way, I have a question whether the Discharge function only applies to the right connector of the charger because that's what it says in the manual...?? I'm also looking for a decent description!

Added after 3 [hours] 49 [minutes]:

Hello! I also determined that this charger is "some" copy, probably of the P9-2 VOLTCRAFT charger. I'm still interested in the instructions and maybe the diagram! Maybe someone knows something more... I'm waiting

I have the same problem and I can't find anything about it.
namely, I have 2 such chargers and 2x Tronic 8.6V 200mAh batteries and 2x Batimex 9.6V 200mAh batteries, and strange things are happening.
2 Tronic batteries were charged together in one charger, one was charged (lit green), and the other one started flashing red - I took it out and put it back in, after a dozen or so minutes of charging, it turned green,
while the Batimex 9.6V battery, after supposedly charging (about 9.5V on the meter), flashes red and removing it does not help, they continue to flash red. In my opinion, the charger has a problem with recognizing the battery concept and instead of switching to battery maintenance mode, it stops charging.

    Quote:
Discharge only affects the right connector

yes, it applies to one connector "B"

PS there are some dedicated chargers for Baimex 9.6V, but the waiting time of 6 weeks forced me to buy Emos, I don't know if it's a good choice, I hope that the batteries will work well with this charger

Well, I also have interesting stories with this charger. It says that it charges NI-Cd and Ni-Mh batteries, but for example, in my case it charges the NI-Mh battery correctly and the lights come on as described, but after inserting the Ni-Cd battery, nothing lights up. (And the battery is charging) and you don't know when it's charged... it's pure cinema, so it's not some super charger, rather the opposite.

Some of the symptoms disappeared after reading the instructions, i.e.... plug in the charger, connect the battery.
There are still situations when it flashes red, but from what I noticed, it probably happens when the battery is charged and we want to recharge it. I'm loading GP 9.6/170 and Batimex 9.6/200. I haven't noticed any symptoms like yours.

Anyway, I'll try the Batimex charger. 4 slots will speed up charging of 8 batteries before shooting games :)

I once went to an electrician with a similar problem. I showed him my Energizer charger and told him that instead of the green light I was getting flashing red lights. The guy took the charger apart, checked every element of it, and the light kept flashing. Do you know what it turned out to be? One of the batteries was so worn out that it could not be fully charged, hence the processor inside it signaled a failure/lack of batteries, and since the charger was unable to charge one piece - the batteries were charged until the flashing light appeared :) As for the batteries, they were over 4 years old and had never been used. Back then, I didn't know that if you don't charge the batteries, their lifespan doesn't extend at all...
