Navigation MFD2 DVD Firmware: All Versions (28, 30, 47, 49, 50) - European & American Editions

I still do not want to work.

I was able to burn a Verbatim DVD-R (8x) at 2x speed and nothing.

The original v2 version works fine and all other CDs too.

I did unlocking it several times to be sure.

I am still thinking about cleaning the laser and I wonder if such lens cleaning plates are safe for navigation?

What do you think about it?

You're absolutely right - this crack is nothing else but factory firmware in Polish. it means that there must be this order: crack and unlock and only the maps work.

and the navigation has problems with reading other discs, e.g. audio cd or the original old map? if not, donate to the laser. Forget the sophisticated media and try even those cheaper media, but on different recorders because there is probably a problem here. use the proven ImgBurn for recording.

Hello, I have a VERY BIG problem ... Well, I downloaded the update 30 to the MFD 2 radio from post 1. I recorded it via PowerISO on a Sony CD (probably 4x or 8x speed). Radyjko read the disc without any problems and after confirming it started updating the software. Unfortunately, after about 10 minutes, the upload stopped on the message (picture)

it's been like that for an hour !!! What should I do ?? Please help...

Something I could not edit so I write the answer ...
After 2 hours of waiting ... I took out the cork ... after putting it back, the same screen appeared, only the progress bar was reset ... I recorded softa 30 again, this time from a different side and this time with alcohol 120 at 10x speed on a sony disc .... And again the same ... the progress bar comes to the same place and nothing ... I noticed that I can't even hear the record spinning ... I waited 2h AND NOTHING !!! Can someone help?

Namely, I would like to download Polish maps and polish, and possibly a Polish reader for MFD2 DVD in Touran 2005.

I would like to make sure about 2 issues:

Is it supposed to be in the appropriate catalogs when preparing unlock records with Polish or maps? if so, which ones, respectively?

is there a difference in soft cars (or rather in poles, unlocks or maps) for cars with or without a multifunction steering wheel?

How well do I understand the step by step procedure should look like this?

1.Verifying the software and possible update until 30
2.cd-r (speed 4-10x) - imgburn - crack (question is whether it is in directories)
3. cd-r (4-10x speed) - unloker - also burned as an image
4.and dvd-r maps (on foreign forums) we write dvd + finally I don't know what to decide - the map is also burned as an image through the imgburn program

After downloading the files from zaniak, I did the following:
1.I recorded the soft on the EU 0030 plate, it is a single file so that you do not need to make any folders.
2. Same with unlock file you click on the file named img and burn it to the board
3. Finally you burn v 7 maps to DVD + R DL disc. I recorded the Verbatim CD and everything works.
Regarding points 1 and 2, I recorded this on a Verbati CD

After recording on DVD + R DL Verbatim and Platinum discs, the maps are fine.

I have an MFD2 DVD. Today I uploaded soft 30 (from post 3), the installation took about 30-40 minutes and it ended positively. Navi lit our way. The joy lasted a while because after a while, however, the inscription "damaged navigation module" appeared. From that moment, navi (even the compass) does not work. From what I remember, I replaced the soft from 2005. Please help or suggestions. I read somewhere that I most likely have versions that I updated to c.

It finally worked for me, but the v5. Recorded on a Tesco Omega disc. She went the first time.

I have been tired with the v7 so far. I even got a recorder like the one from the recorder. And nothing.

I will try to download a finished, converted map with a Polish teacher. Because so far I have been recording the original version reworked by me with the changed files of the Polish voiceover. Maybe that's the problem.

A small fix. The version I recorded is v7, not v5. Copied from another working disc.

But the v7_PL version from my friend @zaniak also worked, so my problem was probably a bad saving of the .iso file after adding the Polish lector.

Additionally, I updated my bios to the newest one. And the recorder is LG GSA-4167 B. The disc is better.

All in all, I broke some CDs and wasted a lot of time, but the problem was solved.

Thanks to my friend @zaniak for the files and instructions.

Everything works fine for me. Nero program, LG recorder, speed 2.4, some cheap discs.

I have a question regarding the V7. I updated the Softa and the unlock went smoothly as well. The question concerns the V7 file itself, do we record everything that is unpacked from the file on the CD or not? And do we record as a normal data disc or maybe you need to create a disc image (if so, what image?)

Neither of us is a Holy Spirit - we do not know where you downloaded the map from - I assume that from the links from this forum and it is the MFD2DVD v7 PL map.
After unpacking, an image of the disc will be created - we record with the program (I personally recommend Alkohol 120) onto a two-layer disc with the lowest possible speed. I also recorded the disc with Nero - there was no difference - both were read flawlessly - in my opinion a lot depends on the quality of the reader in the navigation.
So far you don't have any problem, and you ask - how can you solve a problem that does not exist?

I downloaded the crack, unlock, and map v7 en from the hamster from you. I do not read the disc with the map, I do not know if I should first upload the firmware 30 from you because I have already tried on all discs what is on this forum and they had the disc does not read them, maybe on my ausus, LG and Samsung do not burn the disc exactly?

2. unlock the CD later (installation time about 60 seconds) note the process is looping and
if you don't take the disc it will go on forever.

I have a MFD2 (CD, DX) radio in a VW Touran. A changer, a phone holder and a multifunction steering wheel are connected to the radio. I do not know if it matters - after turning on the high beam, the backlight automatically changes to night mode.
I want to update the firmware to the latest version possible, including crack.
Currently I have 4.05, radio version 1T0035194B.
What firmware to upload? Will the firmware Firmware_MFD2_CDv5_11_VW.rar from 'zaniak' be good?

PS. What is the correct order of uploading? First fw then crack?

I will add from myself - after unpacking all files are disc images - we record soft (firmware or crack) and unlock on CDs, map v7 on a two-layer DVD. As for point 1 - crack is the same as firmware 30 but with changed language files.

When it comes to MFD2 DX - if you are going to be Polish (menu pl), do not upload the latest firmware - just crack it. After uploading the latest fw, you may have problems with polonization (I haven't checked it in practice).

Everything ok. You write that one file is in firmware and unlock. But after unpacking Frimware there are several directories and subdirectories, which file should I record? It is similar in Unlock: after unpacking, there are three files. Should I only record a file with the img extension? In addition, errors popped up when recording maps to Philips DVD + R DL 8x speed discs. I have the NEC recorder. I was recording at 4x speed. Change disc or recorder?
