I'm currently uploading.
There were a lot of problems with recording this downloaded file, you need to run it as a disc image, preferably in a program that creates a virtual disk and burn only the larger file.
It is not a soft that only plays Polish, from what I can see it is an upgrade. My mfd2 dvd version was from 2005, it is from May 2007.
So far, it has been taking an hour and all drivers for sound, graphics, GPS connections, etc. are loaded.

I'm done, the new upgrade from 2007 has been successfully uploaded, the Polish language menu works, of course, in Polish, although there are probably autostore and scan fader phrases, balance, at first glance, the rest is in Polish. In general, navigating in Polish, radio not necessarily. But it works, the sound seems better and the contrast as well, but it's just a subjective feeling

My mind tells me that, for example, burn a crack to a CD (burn the image, of course) and then just put it in the navigation and follow the instructions in PDF?

I have a Passat B6 from 2007 with MFD2 DVD navigation and I only have German there, even to English cannot be changed. Apparently, you just need to insert a navigation disc to change the language, but I haven't tried it yet.

And these firmware files there are several packages, these 28.30 and 47.49.50.
The car is from Germany, will it be soft one of these 28, and in the US version one of these 47 or higher?

And what is better to upload? The latest firmware or a crack? Does it not matter? Is the latest firmware first, then crack?

Instrukcja niemiecka:

Install update:
1. Plan about 30 minutes of time, do not make any changes to the ignition, engine start, heavy loads or similar during the update
2. Switch on the navigation system, ideally when the vehicle is stationary with the ignition key removed
3. Eject the route CD, insert the update CD (see below)
4. The update CD will be ejected automatically a short time later, then reinserted
5. After a while a selection menu appears: Press Enter for "Start control unit" (see pictures below)
6. Now wait until the update is finished and the selection menu appears again
7. Select Exit, remove the CD and reinsert the navigation CD
8. Check in the software menu whether the software version is now March 22nd, 2002.

1. Unzip files (e.g. WINZIP)
2. Set the burner: Jolliet format off, only file names of normal length (8 + 3 characters), ISO format, complete CD, no multisession CD.

Polish menu - you will have Polish subtitles after turning on the navigation, and have you checked the link on the hamster with the instructions? in Polish with pictures !!
The firmware is original soft - Polish menu, firmware conversion into Polish. Firmware is there to return to the original software in case of any problems, eg failed upload, error, etc. Why change the original software to other original software - if nothing is wrong. Things that are not broken are not repaired, and interfering with the firmware of devices is always risky.

Or maybe you still know if there is any possibility to change the language on this computer between the clocks? Because when I changed the navigation to English, then it changed on this computer to Italian or French, then after restarting the car it changed to German again.

V7 maps to MFD2 DVD are finally available.
Apparently, you need the FW 30 to launch them, unlock and of course the maps themselves :)

I uploaded at home and everything flies without a problem.
The lack of a Polish teacher, but I don't even use the Polish menu, is no special loss for me.

Caution:
Supposedly, to upload these maps you need a soft 30 in navigation. I already had it, so I started right away from unlock and then the maps.
If you do not have the software yet, you can download it separately from zaniak (1 post) or immediately with all maps, from me or from zaniak, it does not matter. It is one and the same
Uploading the software for me took about 30-40 minutes, also prepare for a longer meeting in the car or at least next to it. You can leave it, but I preferred to sit and watch :)

Note 2:
Of course, we record the unlock on a separate CD. I recorded a very old CD-RW that I found in a box and it works fine. Recording speed x10.
We put it into the drive in the car and then the operation will be looped.
The whole process takes a few seconds, but until we pull out the plate ourselves, one and the same operation will fly over and over again.
It's okay with navigation! You just have to interrupt the operations manually. I stopped like that after a minute of two, I think there were about 5-10 loops, just to be sure :)

As for the maps themselves, I recorded them with my program ImgBurn to the HAWK DVD + DL x4 plate. However, with the cheesy ones, it works. Everything went smoothly, the navigation was updated very quickly!

From what I was looking at, the road cover is already very good for car navigation. Before, I had the V3 version of the maps and it wasn't even my street, and now the whole neighborhood shows up beautifully.

I have been testing the V7 map for a few weeks now .. And I must say that it is accurate, but when it comes to selecting routes, it does it hopelessly and my previous V4 did it much better.

Do any of you have a voice over from V6 or V7?

You can just hear the Polish teacher but the commands are pointless. I was looking for a program to open these files, but nothing like that. If you find something, let me know. To save on CDs, I will only write that replacing the voice file itself does not do anything.

After the modification date, you can notice that the files that differ are the ones M and B .. and I will only replace them and I will not replace compress and voice ..

From what I read on the passat forum, people when they recorded x2.4 speeds did not work for them maps. You have to record a minimum of x4.
Book-Type of the disc is set to DVD-ROM, but it is automatically set everywhere.

But that's just the way it works for some people and not others.
It worked for me the first time, I recorded on some cheesy Hawk in a laptop recorder with x4 speed, the ImgBurn program.

I recorded v 4 and it goes so either navi has problems with the laser on dvd + r dl or my recorder burns them badly. I keep trying.

DVD + R DL Mint - I recorded 4 pcs - Alcohol 120% 2.0.0.1331 the lowest speed - all ok. LG recorder. Unfortunately, the discs recorded on a laptop recorder did not work.

I just got CDs from a friend and I can see nothing nice to read, but the wrong CD pops up so the laser is ok.

Change navi to another language and then switch back to metric English - it should help and the commands will make sense.

Hello! and can you check if navi is unlocked? Something doesn't seem to last 2-3 seconds, but only one or less. and the recorded map does not go. I don't know where the error is - in which album.
