    Hello,
I live in an old post-German building, in which the main security of the building, pre-meter protection and meters are located in the staircase. The apartments are located on a long balcony, not in the staircase as in most apartments. And now where does WLZ end - is it on the meter or is WLZ drawn to each of the tenants' flats to the switchboard? I have books with 2 definitions?

Internal power line (building object) WLZ
an electrical circuit which supplies power to the instrument panel. These lines can supply power to the main switchboards, floor boards, apartment boards, etc. In multi-family buildings, the installation between the connector and measuring systems in apartments can be used as WLZ.
This is a case-by-case definition and cannot be used to describe all CRLs.

    Hello.
As a colleague WLZ wrote above in multi-family flats, it is an installation from the Cable Connector (supplying power) to a given building to the main switchboard of this building.

So how are we going to name the sections of the installation between the main switchgear of the building and the residential switchboards?

In the study published by my colleague Krzysztof, the definition is different. I recommend you to read.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the definition and scope of WLZ (Wewnętrzna Linia Zasilająca), which refers to the internal power line supplying electricity to various switchboards in a building. Participants clarify that in multi-family buildings, WLZ typically extends from the cable connector to the main switchboard, and may also include the installation between the main switchgear and residential switchboards. There is some debate regarding the terminology used for sections of the installation, with suggestions that these may be classified as receiving installations. The conversation emphasizes the need for precise definitions in electrical contexts.
