Hello, I want to change the memory of the RAM in my laptop and I noticed that there are two types of memory:

    2gb 2Rx8
    2bg 1Rx8

Can anyone explain to me what the difference is and which ones are better, but the easiest way to explain it

"NR x M" represents "N" banks of SDRAM chips with a data bus width of "M bits". Thus, the 2Rx8 module has two banks of 8 8-bit chips, and the 1Rx8 has one bank of 8 8-bit chips.

Tjaa, and a laptop from 80 or 82? On DDR1 or on DDR2? Production of DDR or Germany? ;-)
Buddy, give the basic information nicely, then someone will answer sensibly!

Ok, I already know something, but it doesn't tell me much, write me which ones are faster or better.

Somehow a colleague above was able to give me an answer, but if I already tell you that it is about ddr3, the laptop is 4 months old

    The fewer chips the better.

This is the Memory that I want to buy and I am interested in the notes marked in the squares because I do not really know what they mean ??? I'm going to buy two dice that are different and the difference is that one die has the designation 1010 and the other 1024 ???

Why do they work faster or break better

This is the date of manufacture (so-called Date Code).
    1010 means 2010 and week 10 (production March 8-14, 2010).
    1024 is 2010 and week 24 (production June 14-20, 2010).

Thank you very much for your answer, I will be returning to this designation when buying a memory

Now I know why these 1Rx8 are better, please tell me why they are better faster / more durable because it also matters because they are more available and I do not know if it is worth looking for 1Rx8
