Go to the sound card settings and look for the microphone input settings.

On the loudspeaker next to the watch, left-click twice quickly. A window will open and at the top select Input devices from the list. Then, at the bottom, tick something like mono, stereo microphone, and preferably everything. Click ok. Now a window has opened in which you have a lot of sliders. You probably have a bird in stereo, change to the microphone and turn up the micro to the maximum with this slider. It should work.

does not work; / I forgot to add that I have windows xp proffesional operating system on one computer and xp home on the other and on both computers I have a Realtek sound card .... I have headphones with a microphone on both computers and you can talk to each other normally only that how I wrote earlier on one of the computers what was said a moment ago is repeated

@Lukasixhtm when I click on this icon speaker, there is no input device tab anywhere or anything like that, here's the screen ... it's worth adding that when I turn on the "acoustic echo removal" option (maybe it) on this incorrectly working computer, then it is true that there is no echo, but you can not hear anything on the second computer in the headphones please HELP ME !!!!

I meant just what you have on the right in the screen. This is what you call master volume. At the top, click on the options -> Properties and in the window that opens, the first from the top you should select "playback" and "recording" then select recording. The box at the bottom will change in which select everything with ticks and click OK. Then the sliders will open. And then select the microphone because you probably have stereo selected. Try to mark the check mark next to mute under the microphone volume slider. For me, the microphone works on muted :)

Pane on the right - properties-options - at the very bottom select the box microphone to appear in this panel. Under the microphone volume slider, check the box - mute.
