Hello. If the brewer crashes the door as it says "zmija5", it is something wrong with the brewing unit (wash, lubricate) or (I bet) with the main gear sensor. The upper block position sensor turns off the engine too late and crashes the block.

Hello Dear forum members. And after 5 years of using Saeco Exprelia 8856/09 I got error E05. After turning on, Ekpsres tries to complete the water circuit, but it fails and E05 appears. Previously, there were problems with rinsing after switching on. The whole cycle was not always followed. On hearing it looked as if something was blocking the flow and the rinsing process started again after a while. Sometimes several times.

I analyzed this thread and proceeded to review the individual elements.
    1. The dry flow meter does not drip on it, it is clogged and rotates nicely
    2. Nothing is dripping, silicone tubing is filled with water, no air.
    3. I pulled out the coffee heater. It is free, it can be purged.

    4. I pulled out the steam heater. And here I have a question. Should it be unobstructed, or is there a solenoid valve at the entrance? When I put a thin screwdriver in the exit, it goes deep inside. When I put it in the entrance, it reaches the maximum depth of the inlet connector + 2mm and the end. I marked the red line where the screwdriver is reaching.
Saeco Exprelia - Filling the water circuit and the message restart the machine

When I turn on the coffee machine, it tries to fill the circuit, the pump starts to work and the sound is as if the pump was blocked at the output. I just don't know if it's the steam heater (through the blocked heater, or the bigger one that pushes the water to the coffee heater - the heater itself is obstructed, but I don't know what is next.

What do you think about it ? Steam heater or look further? For example, a valve behind a coffee heater? Or maybe something else?

Thanks in advance for your help

In these models, it either clogs the heater or one of the solenoid valves.

As a rule, the water inlet to the steam heater is blocked. May this blockage be the only one in this heater. A spring wire, a screwdriver and there is a chance to unblock it, but beware, it happens that the wire breaks and stays inside. So in moderation or a hose, pump and pump out the syringe so that the descaler gets to the stone blockage. It may take a long time, however, with breaks of several hours, depending on the "obstacle".
    Good luck.

I have such a problem, apart from the above mentioned one, which has not been solved yet, because I didn't get down to it.
During descaling, the machine cannot see the drip tray when it needs to be emptied. By trial and error, the machine is finally started. Oddly enough, when I put in the grounds container alone (I put it on a rug), without the drip water container, no problem. No problem during normal operation either. Only during the descaling process.

There is a water sensor in the door. I unscrew the screws, disconnect the 3-pin plug from the plate and then descaling is easy.
After the process, I connect the plug and the coffee machine works. [/ Quote]

Generally the problem is unresolved. I have the same ailment, although during the last two or three descaling treatments the problem did not arise. For the duration of the cleaning process, when the fault occurs, I place the grounds container on a cloth. Then it works, and the water is absorbed by the cloth. Breakneck, but it also works for others.

For me it was helpful to replace the sensor. You can temporarily wipe the door and the edge of the tray with a paper towel.

Did you exchange it yourself or in the service?

It was under warranty, so it was replaced on the site.

    Hello
    Let me refresh the topic
Express Saeco Aulika after switching on you can hear the pump's working moments, then the message E05.
Interestingly, what I have not found in previous posts, it will take a little water from the tank and the water is poured into the drip tray. no leaks are visible after removing the top of the housing.
If the boiler is replaced, which one is there?
Thank you in advance for your help

You have to check yourself, because you have the coffee machine at home.

Check the flow meter and carefully the connector contacts. There is a heater above the flow meter recently I had a few cases of leakage from the heater hose and flooding the flow meter cube :)

Hello . too hard water. I propose to disconnect the hoses from the steam heater (first from the front) and check the flow if it is free. As a rule, the tubing closer to the back of the device is clogged with a stone at the entrance. > if the obstruction is close after checking with the wire, you can fight it, but if deep / far it is a rather difficult topic. I don't know if injecting a descaler will do the trick, but sometimes it clears it after many attempts. good luck!

    Hello
I just had such a case

    And I will be honest
There, nothing will help but replace or reprogram the electronics.

I had such a machine from a client.
I replaced almost everything and it turned out that the electronics are freaking out. I changed the disc and everything is OK

Hello. Like everyone else, error 5. In the coffee machine, I replaced the sensor on the heater and the valve that connects the brewing unit. The coffee machine worked and made coffee. I wanted Capuchino and unfortunately my wife. The cause was a lime clogged steam heater. The heaters are open, they heat both, the flow meter is operational, but after switching on, the pump only works for a moment and an error appears 5. What now ?

Aulika Error E05 Gives the reasons for:
    1. A stony heater I RECOMMEND TAR 26
    2. Clogged block, and more precisely the pressure valve (ball with a spring), this problem appears when the device is turned on while flushing.
    3. A tee on the coffee drain solenoid valve clogged with firearms
    4. flow meter failure - unlikely, but it does happen.

Hello, and which tee is it and where is it located? ;)

Hello, error E5, After replacing the flow meter, the error E5 was still there. I opened the coffee machine again and disconnected the wires from the solenoid valve 1 and took it out, then connected the wires and placed a glass under the upper part 2 and started the coffee machine. The block was rinsed, and after rinsing, I put everything back together and I enjoyed delicious coffee, Regards, Marek. Saeco Exprelia - Filling the water circuit and the message restart the machine

Does not want to run hot water, but makes coffee. Electronic heater replaced with a new one, valves work, spout open. What is wrong? When the circuit is full, it makes coffee but does not switch on the pump to pour hot water.

Topic summary

The Saeco Exprelia coffee machine is experiencing an E05 error, indicating a problem with the water circuit filling process. Users report that the machine pumps water but fails to complete the cycle, prompting a restart message. Common causes identified include a clogged heater due to limescale buildup, issues with the flow meter, and blockages in the brewing group or solenoid valves. Suggested solutions involve descaling the machine, cleaning the brewing group, and checking for air in the pump. Some users have successfully resolved the issue by manually clearing blockages or replacing faulty components. Regular maintenance, including descaling and cleaning, is emphasized to prevent recurrence of the problem.
