    Hello
The patient is a Passat B6 2008, the "service jetzt" message is displayed, I have tried to manually delete it several times using the following method:

    -hold the key button
    -turn on the ignition
    -release the key button
-within 20 seconds, press the min button

This procedure doesn't work, maybe it's long life, but I don't know if that could be the reason.

I tried gutmann but it didn't help either ehh

-Do you know any other manual procedures?

-Can vag+can handle this car or do I need to invest in vcds?

    Regards
    Marcin

The X button is a button with a key on the right side of the counter, do you mean that?

    Hello. I have a question

After deleting SERVICE JETZ with your computer. Will it appear after 15,000 km? Does it need to be programmed somehow?

And what interval was set? Regular 15tkm or longlife?

Hmm. I'll tell you what interval was set, I honestly don't know. Is there any way to change this? So that it would be, for example, 10,000? At the same time as an oil change?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the manual deletion of the "Service Jetzt" message on a 2008 Passat B6. The original poster attempted a manual reset procedure involving the ignition and specific button presses, but it was unsuccessful. Various users provided alternative methods, confirming that the correct procedure involves turning off the ignition, holding the appropriate button, and following a sequence of ignition and button presses. Some users suggested that using a computer tool like VCDS is the most reliable method for resetting the service message. There were also inquiries about the service interval settings and whether the message would reappear after a certain distance.
