I think that with this "higher" efficiency compared to the membrane one it is a big exaggeration
The diaphragm pump is about 1000L / ha, the impeller is about 7000L / ha, and my well is 3 meters more efficient and the difference will be significant.

Theoretically yes. But for every meter of lifting, the pump's efficiency drops by some ten percent. There was even a formula somewhere to calculate this. I have read quite a lot about pumps, looking for answers to my questions, but I found little.

In your case, it's so cool that you are only 3 meters. So there won't be such a gigantic drop in performance. In my case, 6 meters is on the limit of the lifting height of most centrifugal pumps in the price from 140-200 PLN, which have this parameter up to 5, up to 8 meters (the 8 meters are often a marketing fiction). The average diaphragm pump costs PLN 80-100.
The advantage of the membrane is that it does not generate too much pressure in my situation, which allows watering from a hose.

I additionally have a hose on the plot up to the tunnel from 30 meters from the well. The snake itself has a little more. Then, the impeller will likely experience large efficiency losses because the pump will be heavily loaded.

Also take into account what I wrote, that cheap centrifugal pumps often have their parameters quite stretched. I watched a few models at the mall. I do not believe in their durability and performance. In my opinion, a centrifugal pump for PLN 100-140 may turn out to be a rather poor product.

Until now, I had a 225W diaphragm, weak, the water flew but at the same speed as if you turned on the tap at home.
I know there are 400W diaphragm versions, but due to the design, the efficiency will probably not increase much.

I am also a bit frustrated with the waiting time until I fill up the tank.

That's why I have a dilemma. I wanted to buy a centrifugal pump, hoping for a quieter operation and greater efficiency, but I cannot find a pump that can handle 6 meters, a hose over 30 meters, and at the same time does not have 1000W and does not cost a huge amount of money. And when asking in different places, he does not get the answer which pump is worth taking, taking into account the depth of the well.

This pump, which I gave the link, lifts up to 18 m. It has a really high power of 1600W, but this is not a disadvantage in my case, because I want to quickly pump water into the bucket. Although the pressure may be too great, it is impossible to stand close to the bucket.

Well, in fact, you can have a lot of pressure here, because on the way you do not have any losses in the form of a hose spread over the plot. The only thing I don't like about this pump is the lack of a float. Of course, it depends on your water level in the well, i.e. whether there is a risk that the water level in the well will drop quickly.
In my case, the float would protect the pump against burning because the water level is 80 cm. Sometimes less.

The diaphragm pump that I had sucked the water from the top, so often on hot days it was able to significantly lower the water level in the well during longer watering.

I have a lot of water from 3 meters. The same seller also has the same pumps with a float for PLN 139.

I will add my 3 cents.

For pouring water from a well - my father-in-law has a well on circles, I once bought him a pump
EINHELL for dirty water with a 750W float (EINHELL BG-DP 7535).

The pump has different nozzles and with the 1/2 '' hose it gave little water, but after reducing the tip to 1 '' it gives great.
Bucket of water is pumping in no time.
It is sunken a few meters - I don't know how many, but probably 3-4.
And turned on all the time to the electricity and next to the socket there is a power switch and that's it.

I, on the other hand, are looking for a pump for watering the garden.
So what would take water from a 1000l barrel, but if it runs out, it turns off and I found the WZ250 Omnigen pump + BRIO SK-13 switch, but for this I also need a suction hose and it costs about PLN 60 and probably some anti-sand filter because the barrel is getting algae :(

And I thought about the membrane Belorussian 225W before.

And I don't know what to buy anymore.

I want to water from the hose directly, but also make a drip line etc.

amoorek, what you gave is a hydrophore, i.e. a surface pump.

However, as for the Belarusian pump, it was damaged in my case after 4 years, and it did not have a bit, because no one took it out for the winter, it was constantly submerged. Overall, it was enough for simple watering, although it could generate a little more pressure. But given the length of the snake, it was really surprising.
I have an old bathtub on the plot, I pour water into it for watering purposes and I calmly water myself with a watering can, or when necessary, I pour the hose directly.

I was thinking about a Belarusian one, but a little more powerful 300-400W.

From what I've read, the dirty water pumps have to make up for the power. And somehow I do not want to pack in the 1600W pump about which Andrzej Mazur wrote.

The water in the well is not particularly dirty, some debris, but in principle near the surface. You can always put the pump in something that will act as a filter :)

I also have a well on circles, this EINHELL BG-DP 7535 looks interesting, although I have not found the same model, I can see that it is the EINHELL BG-DP 7835 model. I do not know what the difference is.

I did not want to exceed PLN 150 too much. And it turns out, as I wrote, that a sensible pump costs over PLN 200 for its performance to be as such.

cupid, and this EINHELL BG-DP 7535 pump is at what depth it works? I mean how deep the well is in relation to the ground. Because from what I can see, this pump has 15,000l / h and a lifting height of 8 meters.

So you write that increasing the diameter of the hose had a positive effect on the performance? But was the hose diameter increased all the way or just from the pump to the well exit and then a reduction to 1/2 inch? Because I have a 1/2 inch hose, I would not want to go to excessive costs if it was necessary to change the entire hose.

I still want to buy a membrane like the Belarusian one, but something stronger 300-400W. However, I do not know which company makes solid clones of the Belarusian one.
I would prefer to buy somewhere locally rather than online because of the warranty, and I don't feel like sending back later and wasting my money on shipping and time.
There was a POWER UP 300W in Nomi, but at an exaggerated price of PLN 119, but I am irritated by the topic of pumps and if I get pissed, I will buy the one from Nomi, even though I am aware of overpaying for it.

Today I bought a small Power Pump pump for dirty water at the fair. Metal housing. The price of PLN 140 in the store was the same for 245. Lifting height 16m, capacity 100l per minute Motor 2400 watt, a walker for such a small pump does not seem to be a real value. I think that it is enough for my needs for a solid appearance.

I also made a purchase today.

I bought a diaphragm pump, Power UP 79942, same as it was in Nomi, 300W.
You can find either google images at the auction. The previous Belarusian one had 225W but I suspect that the durability of the Belarusian one was unrivaled.
I paid PLN 119 but I was fed up with searching. Pumps above 1000W are a misunderstanding in my case.

One thing I changed was a 9 meter hose with a larger diameter (later I applied a reduction to a smaller diameter with a plan to change the hose to a thicker one), because it turns out that there was some thin hose and force pressed into the old pump, which caused unnecessary load and drop efficiency already at the stage of lifting water from the well.

For filling a bathtub / tank, or simple watering, such a membrane works well. I tested it.
Of course, it is no longer suitable for the sprinkler because the sprinkler requires a reasonable pressure, unless you want to sprinkle your feet ... :D

    Parameters of this pump

    Metal housing
Maximum capacity: 1100 liters per hour
    Maximum delivery height: 50 meters
    Immersion depth: 8 meters
    Hose connection diameter: 1/2 '
    Protection degree: IP X8
    Insulation class I.
    Electric cable with a plug 10 m
    Mains supply AC 230 V
    Power: 300 W
    Weight: 2.6 kg

I would like to add that many offers with this pump at auctions have a wrong water depth and discharge height. Such effects when one mindlessly copies descriptions from the other. That is why I have a great distance to the parameters of pumps listed on the Internet at auctions.
Here this parameter is written correctly. So the immersion depth is 8 meters and the discharge height is 50 meters, of course taking into account the decrease in efficiency.

If someone has a vertebral well and does not need gigantic pressure, then such a membrane is not a bad choice.
It works much louder, but this can only be heard at the well.

Compared to the Belarusian one, the efficiency is slightly higher due to the higher power, as well as the new membranes, in the Belarusian one they were already a bit worn out.

It does not bother me at all with the 2400w and it is certainly not that much, just someone has put a sticker on the pump with 2400w because the pump is small but it pumps quite quickly in my opinion it is perfect for me. Today I talked to a friend when buying a pump and he is the happy owner of a Russian diaphragm pump and he persuaded me to buy it for only PLN 80 but I did not choose it because I wanted greater efficiency. I still have to use a check valve at the pump because, as I expected, all the water from the hose returns to the well. I have a question whether on the hose 1 "how to put the check valve terz 1" it will not throttle the water flow. I do not know if the check valve has the same capacity as the hose of the same diameter, advise me because tomorrow I am going to get the valve and I would not like to make a mistake I found the valve one made of brass with a spring inside ???

Andrzej, in terms of power, it is mainly about the fact that I have such an electrical installation, I would not like to let it go on fire because it is an installation of a very old house, which will be redone only some time, maybe next year. And the house will go to demolition.
In total, my friend in the store suggested a slightly different pump, quite solid, similar in construction to what you showed before, but I would have to change a long hose to a different diameter to make sense, and this generates costs that I wanted to avoid.

All in all, it's nice if the pump has a performance regulation ...

And for watering such as watering, if the pump is too powerful, it is difficult to water in a tunnel, for example, because the pressure would wash out the soil.
This membrane type is a compromise between price / performance.

The Russian or Belarusian one has only 225W, a little bit, but it is enough for many people for such dribbling.
I bought 300W, slight difference but slightly better performance. Probably because it's new :)

I also have to organize a check valve. Because each time the pump has to push the water out again, once I sucked the water from the tank because I forgot to remove the hose after disconnecting the pump.

What kind of check valve do you have in mind? Company, price, photo? Plastic or metal?

Have you already tested your pump?
How's the overall impression, loud quiet, how much performance?
For you, these 3 meters of well depth have a positive effect on a small drop in performance.

I can't find your pump on the internet. Does it have a symbol?

I tried so, but the efficiency was smaller as they wrote, because 40 L per minute, not 100, but I think it was the fault of the new green garden hose, which was not straightened and bent in several places. If I organize the non-return valve and put everything together, I will do a performance test because I have straightened the hose by pouring hot water under pressure. I estimate the work of the pump as very quiet because you can hardly hear it at the well. I have a brass check valve in my eye. Enter the brass check valve on the Allegro, it will pop out as I want to use. And I also cannot find the pump I bought on the Internet, but if I find it, I will send you a link. Interestingly, the weight of the pump is not correct because it is given 8 kg, but it seemed lighter to me and I weighed and is only 4 kg.

Everything is ready, the pump is set 30 cm from the bottom so that it does not drag the silt. The pump lifts the water from 4 meters. I do not have as much water in the well as I thought because it is only 160 cm, but it is enough for my modest needs. I installed a brass check valve to the pump, using a 1 "nipple, the threads match the pump and the pump connector was fitted to the check valve at the outlet of the valve and now it is ok, the water does not return to the well immediately after turning on the pump, water flows out. is the same 40 L per minute I was counting on a little bigger but also a 10 L bucket is enough for me 15 seconds is pouring now the pump switch has been installed and everything will be fine Daniel, can you write what efficiency you got on your pump ???

Kinks in the hose increased the flow resistance, but its straightening did not reduce it to zero. The resistance is directly proportional to the length of the hose and inversely proportional to its cross-section and the written capacity of 100l / min refers to zero flow resistance.

Gentlemen, maybe I will ask another way
The cousin has a 2,000-liter tank, the tank is in the ground and collects rainwater from the gutter
rather clean water, or anything that falls from the roof, some leaves or some rubbish
    and here's the question
He needs a pump to water his garden
lifting height rather insignificant, let's say max 4 m distance from the water - max 40 m
The rebates and the garden will be watered from a standard thin hose and a gun, as well as a lawn sprinkler attached instead of a gun

The cost of the plan is PLN 300

And now I have questions - a pump is needed so that it does not break down, e.g. puts the gun down and goes somewhere for, say, half a day without turning off the pump

Honestly, we have no idea if such a pump works like a pressure washer, that if I do not use the gun, despite the power being turned on, it turns off by itself ?? - honestly, it would be a nuisance to go around every now and then to turn the pump off and on while watering ...

in addition, will it turn off when there is no water in the tank ??

I know that you will have to apply any reductions because the pumps usually have an output for a thicker hose

The pump will ultimately be pulled out in the tank for the winter, because it would be burdensome to throw the pump into the tank every day or 2 days ...

We know that miracles cannot be bought, but we want to buy something that will not fall after 1 vacation
that's why I am asking for help in choosing because we have no idea what to buy
    greetings

I warn you against these pseudo Russian or Belarusian diaphragm pumps. They only look similar to the Russian ones, but in fact they are Chinese that decays after a year and a few months. To think that their prototype worked continuously for 6 years.
Now I bought a Tagreda pump - TA 502, the pressure from 10 meters on which it is immersed is such that it is difficult to hold the hose. They advertise them as Polish, but the description says that they were made for Tagred, so probably Chinese too. Nevertheless, it works perfectly for now, I will let you know in a while how much she has lived through :-)

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around selecting the appropriate pump for watering a lawn from a well with varying water levels (5m in spring/autumn and 8m in summer). Participants emphasize the importance of considering the pump's lifting height, pressure, and flow rate, noting that the maximum head does not equate to effective water flow. Submersible pumps are recommended for their efficiency, with specific models like the AL-KO TDS 1201/4 and EINHELL BG-DP 7535 being highlighted. Concerns about pump durability, especially for diaphragm pumps, are raised, with suggestions for using check valves to prevent backflow. The need for a pump that can handle debris in the water is also discussed, with recommendations for filters and proper installation to avoid damage.
