It's like at least seeing everything that specialists see, I mean engine parameters, these maps....
What program should I choose for my teddy bear, where to connect it, and everything to be familiar with this team?

I doubt anyone would give it to you
after all, people make money from it and are reluctant to share such information

    Hello
If you want to tune your car yourself, you can only do it mechanically to a narrow extent or optically by buying ready-made elements. Chip tuning is not that easy if you don't have the knowledge and appropriate equipment. It's better not to try to pry open the door yourself because you'll cause problems with the car. To analyze the map then write to one of the tuners, maybe they will send it to you. And if you want to take care of it professionally, go to e.g. www.vtech.pl, the guys are open, maybe they will take you for training. From them you can buy everything you need for chip tuning, well almost everything .
    Good luck

How much can such a small chip tuning cost?

    Hello
Buddy, there is no such concept - tiny chip tuning. There is only one chip tuning. It involves changing the program that controls the engine's operation. And to what extent it has no significant impact on the price. On the previously mentioned pages you can find a price list of these services.
The prices of individual tuners are similar. But I think you can always bargain which tuner will do it cheaper. But remember, if you don't want to have problems with your car in the future, have it chip tuned by a branded tuner

I don't know what car you have, but many Mitsubishis have non-programmable ECUs. Applies mainly to cars with 4G37 engines (probably all) and partly 4G63 - 8v, 16v and turbo. The ECU does not have EPROM and there is probably nothing that can be done with it.
I wanted to "repair" the galant with 4G37 myself, I disassembled the ECU - I was sure that the Japanese surprised me with some unusual EPROM - I looked and there was an even bigger surprise - there is no EPROM at all!!!

Please do not comment on my "repair", in my opinion it is a good idea because the ECU is designed to run on 91 octane fuel. It must be taken into account that such tuned maps and a low compression ratio (9.5:1) react badly to good fuel.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around DIY chip tuning, highlighting the necessary programs and resources for enthusiasts. Participants express skepticism about self-tuning due to the complexity and potential risks involved, suggesting that it may be better left to professionals. Key programs mentioned include WinOLS for map analysis, with users seeking sources for maps and the full version of the software. Various forums are recommended for further learning, and the importance of using reputable tuners is emphasized to avoid future vehicle issues. Specific challenges are noted, such as non-programmable ECUs in certain Mitsubishi models, which limits tuning options.
