    During printing, a message is displayed on the printer: Load MP Tray PLAIN / A4

    It is interesting that if I move something (eg open a pocket for paper), the printer sometimes prints something.

    the printer needs to put the paper in the manual feed:

    1. or you have an unfinished task with a printout from the manual tray
    2. or you have a multi-purpose tray set up on the computer as the main tray
    3. or you have a faulty feeder sensor

    When this error pops up, you can press the tab down on the printer and there is the option Use alternative Cassette and then prints without a problem. Only this time you have to choose this option. I would like to add that the printer worked until recently without any problems and suddenly the lichen began to appear.

    Apparently, you have set the so-called fersta, that is, the printer will always pick up paper from the manual tray or you have the source of paper set in the controller as a multi-purpose tray. You have to put the drawer in the controller and change it on the printer.

    In the "print preferences" window under the "Basic" tab, select:

    Media type: Automatic Media selection.
