Hi. I am in the process of wiring a wedding hall that is being renovated and remodeled. The multitude of light points and various types of neon sconces and led strips force the use of a huge number of switches and switches with traditional switches. The installation is to retain this type of operation, but in parallel to this the client wants to use intelligent control. I am in the process of wiring all the light points which are to be separately controlled, separately dimmed, directly to the distribution board. The entire installation is star-shaped. and here is my question: which system should I opt for, I should add that the intelligence is to be limited to controlling the lighting, switching on the dimming, making pre-programmed scenes, scenarios.
I would prefer something wired because the building is quite large and wireless solutions may have problems with coverage.
In addition, the integra WRL control panel is to be integrated there, so its considerable capabilities can be used.

Satel offers keypads which you can use to control lighting. i am thinking here, for example, of the SATEL INT-TSI device - you will have the possibility of expanding it in the future to control the alarm, roller blinds, heating, gate or garage. The nice thing is that you can personalise it - that is, choose the options you will use and they will be displayed on the start-up screen. Such a keypad also gives you the possibility to view what is happening on individual cameras. Under this link - you will find an article describing its possibilities.

in a nutshell, you should be interested in the lighting control standard DMX512
of course, as an installer, I will answer your question that it is also possible, as you suggest, but realising the control of facility automation, based on a platform which is a security system, makes sense when it is installed there for other reasons ...
whereas using a class S control panel just because there is no other integration platform... is questionable
a PLC would be more appropriate
    or would be more appropriate
automation devices, e.g. in KNX standard, cooperating with the control panel or not, but much easier to manage due to ready hardware in the form of push-buttons, panels or switches, also the traditional ones connected to binary inputs of the automation system
does not have to be KNX, it is no longer prohibitively expensive if you look for it,
but if you are afraid of it, you have the possibility of software integration with Satel via knx protocol of HDL BUS PRO system, where you have a multitude of devices, inputs, outputs, from detectors through panels, relays, executive modules, there you also have DMX512 I/O devices, so you have the possibility of e.g. installation of an integration if you still need it, automation of power supply on star wiring with the use of outputs and dmx light control
