Hello, I bought a house with a garden in the fall. Now I have to buy some tools: hedge trimmer, lawn mower, trimmer, pressure washer, chainsaw, etc. I am looking for various companies. Recently, I have turned my attention to Hecht devices. I am thinking about a proposal from this company, but there are few opinions. The ones that are positive. It is a Czech company. If someone can share the experience and knowledge in the field of devices from this company, I will be grateful. Maybe some other suggestions ?!

A Czech company, but the equipment is Chinese in its purest form. Until yesterday, I had a scarifier / areator of this company and I will say a drama in general. I do not remember the model, two in one, the power of something like 1600W. Significant things: cheap workmanship, from the beginning the multi-groove drive belt was sliding even at the highest setting of the cutting knives. Due to the design, it is not possible to install a tensioner. In the machines of other companies that I have seen, the drive is through a toothed belt, not a multi-groove belt. The lack of any bearing seal on the shaft (from the side of the aluminum pulley) and the dust that got there caused the effective death of the scarifier yesterday. All in all, I'm glad it fell apart because it just crashed, I had this contraption for five years and I used it about three times in total, including yesterday. I don't know about the rest of their gardening gear, but they are crossed out to me.

And I have the cheapest HECHT 45 saw, HECHT 152 petrol brush cutter, HECHT 551 SB mower, and HECHT 925 secateurs and I am very pleased. Piła is over 2 years old. She is looking for fuel for the winter, she has already cut a lot of wood and is working perfectly. The rest of the devices have never been serviced yet. But when it comes to this type of device "much cheaper than the competition", I think "if you care, you have it".

Two years ago I bought a Hecht 145 scythe and I was happy too, until now. This scythe has 3 features: muck, muck and crap again. She did not last even 2 seasons. It is better to drink these several hundred zlotys and not spend on their products, at least you do not lose as much nerves.
When I took the carburetor to a local scythe service technician, he advised me to buy another one at the market for a few zlotys. The fact is that such carburetors are available for PLN 20-30 even on the Internet. After thinking about it, I came to the conclusion that he was in a mood. The original Walbro carburetor costs over PLN 200, if the whole scythe costs 500, so the rest of the scythe is PLN 300? I had a Victus BC32 scythe before. It was also not a specialty, and it lasted 6 years. I will only add that I bought this Hecht following the opinion of one internet expert that it is Czech made in China, but good. This is total crap.

I am currently renovating the second Hecht 145 scythe. I carelessly advised my cousin about this purchase. Mine was still walking then. It lasted less than 2 seasons for me, 1 season for my cousin. Since I renovated mine last year, it's time to renovate the second one as well. If anyone is interested in what gets out there, I would like to inform you that either the sealants on the shaft, or the carburetor, or both.
I replaced my seals and gave a new carburetor for about PLN 30 with a 15mm throat opening. After this treatment, the scythe walked last year and it also worked for a few hours. I gave the sealants decent, so it will take some time until the next replacement, and the carburetor? - well, maybe it still needs to be replaced this year, because I do not believe in the quality of the carburetor for PLN 25-30.

    Hello.
Sorry for the excavation, but I got a Hecht 4041 mower for repair. Very little used mower. Simply a drama after undressing. Engine damaged due to lack of protection on the sleeve holding the piston on the connecting rod. The sleeve came off and scratched the cylinder. If it breaks down, it simply becomes the proverbial nettles and that's it.

Hello, maybe someone knows about petrol lawn mowers from which manufacturer the engines are sitting there because they are probably very similar to NAC?

I have equipment from this Czech brand and it works quite well. 3rd year and knock on everything ok. I have a petrol pruner, I think a Hecht 46 saw and a scythe on a Briggs engine and everything is in the class! I recommend

I have a telescopic chainsaw from this company. Chain lubrication has stopped working since the beginning. The company is deaf to emails and contact forms. They did not respond within the warranty period. I dismantled the device and checked the patency of the lubrication system - everything is fine and the oil is not being delivered. I use this occasionally and just soak the chain in oil manually every now and then.
I will not buy any more equipment from this "brand".

Good quality equipment at good prices. Two-year warranty, service, spare parts, which is important because you can use it for years.
Personally, I bought a 46 saw for only PLN 299 and it works great. I also have a splitting ax which is three times cheaper than other branded companies. I recommend.

I am just wondering about the Hecht mower, which is in a good price promotion today, but after reviewing this topic, I give up.
The only positive opinions are typical word of mouth marketing of forum users about the achievements of 1 post.

The cheapest Chinese food still with a typical engine. If I were to buy it, I would give it up.

Not all Hecht models are crap because I saw how much some of them were mowing and when they were dirty with life, I caught a little bit that it was still running.

Search with B&C or Loncin engine.

This is such crap that is unimaginable! I bought an electric chainsaw - the bolt securing the chain tension broke after a few days! This is unthinkable with normal motor saws! I went to the service, the mechanic told me that if I insist on reporting, they would take my warranty. I paid him $ 7 and he did it quietly. I also bought an electric string mower. While attaching the line, a spring popped out and I got lost. I went to the site - they do not have such springs. I turned to the nationwide website. They told me that it used to be possible to replace these springs, but not now. The head has been changed, now it is different and now you have to buy the whole head and screw. And the screw is PLN 20! You need the entire head - PLN 50. For this screw - PLN 20. The shipment is PLN 20 and it is almost 100. A new scythe costs PLN 300. I told you on the site that I do not want to, and I will buy a Makita electric scythe or some other decent company, even in installments. Don't buy it! I can confirm, if someone does not believe me, please signal me. Don't buy this crap because you are on a mine! It may be that in the equipment you buy, they will change some broken part to another solution and you already have to replace half of the parts, and the prices of spare parts are as if they were entirely made of gold. But this is crap! Warn your friends, this is a lot! A scam at every turn!

Because Hecht products are nothing more than typical Chinese, which is abundant in every store and every online retailer. The chainsaws "45" and "52" are themselves a clunky, heavy, noisy and fuel-consuming tool, made up of parts of such quality that after a few years you have to replace half the parts (+ cutting set). Brushcutters "43" and larger are also excessively heavy, clunky and uncomfortable, in addition, a choked engine connected to a carburetor that cannot be properly adjusted (poor progression) results in high fuel consumption, and of course there are some parts that normally wear out / damaged.
In my opinion, Hecht, unlike Polish importers, at least minimally cares about the quality of its products. Polish importers only download the cheapest option from China, which then turns out to be counterfeit in parts (e.g. aluminum wires with a thread cross-section), technical data do not match (e.g. power inflated several times), and the importer proudly calls himself "the manufacturer "(No information Made in China). As for the latter, in the USA, importers say that the product was produced in China and specify the name and where the factory is located!
Once I got a 12V Hecht battery charger for repair. In terms of the quality of workmanship - I had nothing to complain about, on the contrary it looked like a branded product and not a disposable crap made in china. However, the problem of non-operation turned out to be a dead microcontroller, which could not be repaired.
Only if someone saw the current prices of branded tools, such as a brush cutter PLN 1500, a saw 1500-2000 PLN ... It's a pity that no one says that branded tools are now also produced in China. Although it cannot be accused of Chinese quality or durability, manufacturers are trying to age the products by weakening the components so that the service has something to earn on.
In my opinion, the biggest pathology is lawn mowers, namely disposable combustion engines, archaic design of carburettors, bodies made of thin powder coated sheet metal (5-10 years and rotten scrap metal).

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around user experiences with Hecht garden tools, particularly hedge trimmers, lawn mowers, brush cutters, and chainsaws. While some users report satisfaction with specific models like the HECHT 45 saw and HECHT 551 SB mower, others express significant dissatisfaction, citing issues such as poor build quality, frequent breakdowns, and inadequate customer service. Common complaints include malfunctioning carburetors, lack of spare parts, and overall reliability concerns. Users suggest that many Hecht products are essentially low-cost Chinese imports, leading to mixed reviews regarding their durability and performance. Recommendations for alternative brands include Makita and Loncin for better quality tools.
