The remote control has been added to the list in the receiver.
The receiver was password protected, so we had to contact the administration.
If the receiver does not have protection, we program it with the already owned remote control according to instructions (from 433MHz systems, e.g. DTM - as mentioned by colleague tapczan0).
For me, the gate and the gate were operated by two separate receivers, so the remote control had to be added to both.
The receiver is usually hidden in the housing of the gate/gate controller and you have to open it to read the display.
