    Hello .
I have a similar problem with the Challenger ST 800 PC ver.5 alarm or as I found in the poor manual on the Challenger PC ver.5 website.
I have already searched all the challenger alarm topics and unfortunately nothing works.
The problem is I don't know how to program the remote. The manual for the Challenger ST 800 PC does not work in this case (none of the others I found also did). It is possible that it is the pilot's fault (I received only 1 from the previous owner in terrible condition and I am not sure if it works). The control unit can be put into service mode with the PIN CODE (the same way as in Challenger ST 800 P 5.4, i.e. after entering the last digit, do not release the button and wait for 1 sec. Siren sound and diode lighting), so I think it is operational.
I will add that the remote control is on the HCS200 chip, has 4 buttons and no LED.

    Regards and waiting for hints.

To program the remote control you must have:
    - efficient / working pilot,
    - know the pin code for the alarm,
    - working siren,
    - working buzzer,
    - have an operating control panel.
(this is not a joke - you need to check if the above-mentioned elements work).

There is sometimes a problem with this remote control. I propose to buy a pilot (or two) SILVER (available on auction portals).
You can also buy the ST800P remote control MUST WITH TRANSPARENT CASE LED diodes (red light). There are also remote controls with a red LED housing - but you will not program this remote.
I know, the SILVER remote has three buttons, you just won't be able to lock the central locking without arming the alarm.

For this alarm, the remote control programming instruction / odisa:
    https://www.elektroda.pl/rtvforum/topic2467174.html#11767041
You do everything as written with the door closed, the mask ...
If you have the immo / anti-robbery / service mode enabled, you must first disarm it (enter the pin code) and then start the remote programming procedure from the beginning.
Best regards and good luck - everything should work.

During programming, press the LOGIC button.

    sample auctions (enter in google):
    "pilot-alarm-logic-silver-rda-can"
    "remote-pilots-alarm-logic-toyota"
... the price is not overwhelming ;)

Thanks, mate. I have already checked and got into the remote control programming mode without any problems, so much that it was not possible to program. Probably mine and yours have come true, that is the crazy pilot. When I buy a new one, I will let you know how it went.
One more thing, mentioned by you 'LOGIC button' pressed during programming is the button with which we enter the PIN CODE because I do not have another button on the central unit?
    Best regards.

LOGIC is a button on the remote control.
When you search the internet for a SILVER or LOGIC remote, there are three buttons: Close, Open and LOGIC.
During programming it matters which button you press.

You have software version 5.0. I missed yesterday; (
The LOGIC button, i.e. opening the tailgate, will not work.
If you like something, send it to the website in Warsaw (LOGIC company, ul. Saniewicka 18). They will change the software to the latest. They have human prices.
Pilot prices are another matter ;)

Try to solder all the elements on the remote control, pour tin through the guides. There is a chance the remote will work.
