As in the topic, unfortunately I found only dryers, and there is no place for two separate devices in the apartment: a washing machine and a dryer. There is no such device on the market?

I found it myself, there is only ONE model in the world. It went on sale in May this year ... cost ~ PLN 5500, you can buy in the most expensive supermarkets so far.

I haven't counted yet, but the price rather significantly exceeds the benefits you can get by paying a smaller power plant bill.

    > The vast majority of washer-dryers dry "using water" (to put it very simply).

Exactly, wasting hectoliters of water cooling the condenser, or blowing freshly used kWh to heat the air outside. This is downright ridiculous at a time when water and electricity are so expensive. Compressors, condensers, evaporators and heat pump technology in general known for a long time, there is no reason not to use it.

    Dear Professionals,
I am looking, I am reading now for the third week and I cannot make a clear decision:

The current model of the AEG washer-dryer (I think L9WBA61B, although I did not find it different from the L9WBA61C) as the only one on the market with a heat pump. It's cruelly expensive. I want to buy the first washer-dryer, tempted by the lack of the need to put up laundry in the apartment, but also limited by the amount of space (washing machine and dryer will not enter separately). I want decent equipment, and not to waste hundreds of liters of water and make the bathroom warm (heat pump).

A widespread opinion reports: do not buy a washer-dryer because it is emergency.
The only info I found about the failure of AEG with the pump was on British forums and it was about clogging a tube with smears from clothes, but apparently after such clogging, it pours water from the powder drawer and drowns the neighbor .....

Will someone share the experience of the service or use?
Buy AEG or let go of ecology, for example for Bosch or Samsung 2in1?

There is currently the L9WBC61B, the old model is the L99691HWD.
The older model is 1kg less laundry and probably a better display.
I have the L9WBC61B for half a year and it works fine, but it has a few shortcomings.

    To the minuses:
    - the laundry is sometimes wrinkled after drying into a chip.

-software has bugs-flaws, an update option could use.
    - you put the laundry in the washing machine weighs pops up time you find that it's too long and you use the washing time shortening function, time instead of counting out resets to default and you have to weigh again, annoying.
    - on some programs it is not possible to turn on any functions after weighing. For example, it is not possible to set the time that must elapse to start washing, shorten the wash, start drying, change the spin speed, etc.
    - washing after the agreed time. The washing machine should weigh and then the time should be set, and now it is so that you want to wash in the morning, first you have to weigh (set the washing time), then delete the program (turn on / off the washing machine) calculate how much time you need to delay, knowing how long the washing takes, so that it was for example at 6.00 in the morning.
    - there is no program, wash until the agreed time, e.g. 6:00 am.
-for some programs, the sum of the times of the combined mode drying + washing is much greater than just washing, and then turning on the drying. These differences are even about 40 minutes. You can see it when the washing machine goes from washing to drying. After starting the drying, the initial centrifugation starts again, waiting for some reason. Interestingly, this only happens in automatic drying, in the timer drying mode, the washing machine immediately turns on the compressor and dries it.

    - drying probably does not have a temperature / humidity sensor. Drying is cold, the laundry can be at 30C throughout the entire drying time - as long as it is damp. When it gets dry, the temperature goes up, sometimes very clearly, it can easily get 50C and more. It should be turned off then, and not dried further, this is what is done when there are more items in the washing machine and it is not typical cotton, it is also not very common. However, in most cases, drying is carried out at low temperature.
-chip drying, but most of all iron drying (very useful) is available only for cotton, and it should be in all programs. You have to manually set the drying time, and that takes practice.
    - frequent cleaning of the drying filter - but it is well-thought-out and manual cleaning is easy.
    - leveling is compulsory.
    - all items placed on the washing machine will drop during spinning.
    - a laminated program card should be added.
-compressor and drying fan make constant hum. Drying mode may be too noisy during nighttime operation if the washing machine is not behind the door.
    - heavy, 100 kg, climbing stairs is a torment, you need min. 3 strong people, preferably 4.
    - I don't understand why the water pump starts up so often.
-you cannot add rinse aid in the sport program?!?
    - the more it dries, the more difficult it is to iron.

    Pros:
-you can rely on it, in fact you put things in in the evening, take them out in the morning, iron them and you can go.
-spin 1600 is already drying itself.
    - spinning has a good algorithm: it slowly accelerates more and more and each time it arranges the laundry again, the minus is that it takes a long time,> 15 minutes.
    - the motor is so quiet that in normal washing, if it were not for the fact that the laundry is splashing in itself, you might not notice that the washing machine is working at all.
    - if someone had to deal with a washing machine for PLN 1000, the difference is colossal.
    - the powder does not generally clump the powder compartment.
-large flap - makes it easy to put on.
-the washing machine after half a year did not move even a millimeter.
-good workmanship, it is not some mismatched wavy plastic.
    - it does not pull small objects under the rubber by the door which then clog the filter, but it happens that the lanyard gets stuck in the rubber folds during drying.
    - drying at low temperature, max 30C. Drying looks more or less like putting a fan in front of your clothes. You can dry items that should not normally be dried. There should be a new symbol for drying at room temperature :)
-Hassle-free filter cleaning at the bottom, just have a flat dish.
    - if someone likes automation, he will be happy, fans, compressor, spinning are fine :)

Probably Bosh also has a washer / dryer with compressor, but it is nowhere written, not even mentioned. I suppose this is based on the water and electricity consumption during washing + drying.
Oh, and one more thing in Poland, this washing machine costs too much, in the Czech Republic I got it cheaper PLN 1000, despite the fact that it is a richer country ... in Slovakia about PLN 800-500 cheaper. In Germany I also saw cheaper, even in Ukraine it was cheaper, it depends who is close to check. In the Czech Republic, you probably won't get an older model. I called AEG if they have a guarantee when it is bought abroad and as long as it is in the EU, there is no problem.
The washing machine heats the room a little, but if you take a longer shower, it is also heated + moisture.

Thanks for the precise info :)
Currently, in the Czech Republic, I see a maximum price difference of 100, unfortunately on the current model (30k CZK).

Speaking of Bosch - please see the attachment and tell me if I type the model correctly :)

yes WVH28420, it can be seen with the annual consumption with and without drying. Besides, I recommend comparing the power consumption.

Hello everyone, please help me choose a washer-dryer. It must be with the heat pump. Has the market situation for these devices improved and more models are available? Unfortunately, when browsing the offers, it is nowhere directly written, except for the AEG model quoted here - this one is unfortunately too expensive. So far, an alternative to it is the Bosch model from the post above WVH28420 for about PLN 3,000, which seems to be a reasonable solution. After the media consumption parameters, I can see that its twin model is the Siemens WD14H420PL. Is there anything else worth paying attention to, apart from these devices? Alternatively, is the surcharge of PLN 2,000-2,500, then AEG is worth the effort? I do not care about fancy programs and gadgets, connecting to a WiFi network. I would just like to wash and dry normal washing, 95% cotton, without using 100l for drying only. And one more question - does the washer-dryer with a heat pump have to be somehow specially placed? Can you put it in a large, built-in wardrobe in the bathroom? Can the wardrobe door be closed? Do you have to open them while drying or install ventilation grilles? I am green in household appliances, so any help will be invaluable to me. Thank you Kuba.

    Hello,
Has anything changed about heat pump washer dryers? Are only AEG and bsh still available?

I don't know if you noticed a certain drawback that the seller pointed out to me yesterday. Namely, a washer dryer has, for example, 9 kg of dry laundry and 6 kg of ... wet load. This means that if you wash the 9 kg, it weighs a dozen or so kg after centrifuging and you will not throw it all into the dryer at once. In addition, when you come back from vacation with your family and have a few washes to do, wait an additional 2 to 4 hours for the previous laundry to dry before putting in another one or giving up on drying.
This, of course, is important if you have the option to buy a separate dryer, because you can wash and dry at the same time without blocking the washing machine, but if you cannot insert a dryer, it is worth knowing that there are some limitations.

Well, I overloaded the dryer many times (because too much laundry was thrown in, but still dried somehow. Nothing broke, although the laundry often came out a bit wet. (but still on the eye) and goes smoothly.

It's good if these devices had a built-in weight and the ability to, for example, block a drying program when heavily overloaded.

Lots of dryers are already equipped with a heat pump, even closer to a thousand zlotys, but not much changes in the subject of the 2-in-1 device. It's probably because of the complexity ...

    AEG L9WBA61BC

but now, due to the fact that I have "free electricity" and the water + sewage system is quite expensive, I became interested in the washing machine with traditional dryers, but those that do not use water for the drying cycle (eg BOSCH WVH 28420PL).

A technological marvel from the elux stable. 9kg of washing 6kg of drying but with heat pump.
Syphilis totalis senseless construction washing machine 6,000 and non-detachable tank. Everything like paper.
The only plus for the elastics from the compressor to the evaporating and condensing unit.
I would not take it for free, after 1.5 years the evaporator and condenser have not seen the world.

Topic summary

The discussion centers around the search for washer-dryer units with heat pump technology suitable for limited apartment space. Users highlight the scarcity of such models, with the AEG L9WBA61B and L9WBC61B being the primary options available, albeit at a high price point (around PLN 5500). Concerns are raised about the efficiency of traditional washer-dryers that use water for drying, leading to increased utility costs. Users share experiences regarding the performance and limitations of these models, including issues with laundry wrinkling and software bugs. Alternatives like the Bosch WVH28420 and Siemens WD14H420PL are mentioned as more affordable options, but the need for a heat pump feature remains a priority. The conversation also touches on the operational limitations of washer-dryers, such as the difference in capacity between washing and drying loads, which can hinder efficiency in multi-load situations.
