    What do i need
On Amen, bind the MAC address of the printer to the IP address.

    Equipment:
I have a printer Bizhub c203 connected to the router TpLink TD-W8951ND I connected computers to it through a switch.

    Problem:
After each power failure or turning off the devices, the printer receives a new address from the pool. When I enter the router settings, it turns out that there is no possibility of linking addresses there. For this reason, I have to change the addresses in the printer driver settings on each computer every day.

    Previously:
Previously, I had an almost identical configuration, with the difference that the router was better (instead of the TD-W8951ND there was TpLink TL-MR3220 ). It supposedly had the ability to bind MAC and IP addresses, but that didn't work! So the problem was the same.

    What should I do?

And is it not possible to hard assign an IP address to the printer? (I mean in the printer settings) Even if the router has DHCP set up, the printer will still have the same address, provided it is in the DHCP address pool set on the router.

Enter the network settings through the printer's configuration panel, disable its DHCP and give it a static address, but outside the DHCP range assigned by the router.

The second option is to assign a specific IP address based on MAC in the router's DHCP settings.

Read the first post carefully - his router doesn't have this functionality.

Indeed, the password 12345678 has discovered a printer area unknown to me. I can't see DHCP being turned off there, but there are manual IP and mask settings! I'll bury it and let you know what I found there.

Setting IP manually is the same as disabling the DHCP client.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around setting a permanent IP address for a Bizhub c203 printer connected to a TpLink TD-W8951ND router. The user faces issues with the printer receiving a new IP address after power failures, necessitating daily changes in printer driver settings on connected computers. Suggestions include disabling DHCP on the printer and manually assigning a static IP address outside the router's DHCP range. Users also mention accessing the printer's configuration panel via a web browser and refer to the user manual for detailed instructions. The router's limitations regarding MAC to IP binding are acknowledged, as it lacks this functionality.
