To "mothers451" - I will write back to you here, because my limit of "private messages" is over. Then here I delete this message and "paste" it into our private correspondence.

I will ask this man when he did this LTE measurement, but I think he did it during the day, but I will find out exactly in days and write. Over time, the speeds will certainly drop as you write. And when it comes to your question whether 40 GB in NJU is enough for me, I do not exceed 37.5 GB of data per month, so it is enough for me. Over time, after half a year in NJU there will be 80 GB, then 100 GB after a year and 120 GB after 2 years, so I do not know what I will spend it on. Even when there were registration bonuses, when I had 100 GB to use the Internet, I used 30-37.5 the most and the rest was lost when they changed the regulations, that unused data is lost, because somewhere in the middle of October 2016 in PLAY it was like 100 You will not use GB in one month for registration, it was transferred to the next month as it was well activated. This is no longer the case and after 30 days the unused data disappears in PLAY. I do not download movies, only music to listen to and then buy, for example, a CD, sometimes some small documents and watching YouTube videos. So it does not work much for me and I am at ease in 40 GB, but when someone downloads movies, it can be harder. With the rest, even after these 40 GB, the internet is normally further away, only the funnel is reduced to 1 Mb / s, so you can use it normally. I am glad :)

    Thanks for your comprehensive answer.

    greetings :)

Also write if you find a moment, what do you need to do to connect to another BTS? How is it done manually and is it possible to manually select it? Because at home I can see that I am also close to me on ul. Duńska 14, from me it is approx. 0.74 km (740 meters) BTS with ORANGE LTE2600. And if, for example, I would like to connect with him, how can it be done? There is a possibility? What exactly needs to be done? How is it done? If you can write. Below is a photo of the location and distance:

It is not known if this LTE2600 Orange works. You have to check. To do this, download http://www.lte-anbieter.info/ltewatch/count_huawei.php?Datei=ltewatch_h or https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1978345/E5186/E5186%20Toolbox_latest.rar once installed and when you open them, you can log in to B315 at 192.168.8.1.These programs show LTE signal parameters and BTS data, but the most important thing is that LTE bands can be enforced in them. Force LTE1800, LTE2600, and LTE800 in turn. check signal parameters, BTS data and speed. Orange uses LTE1800 NetWorks and its own LTE800 and LTE2600. Not all permits for the latter work.

Thank you. I'm going to check and see and paste my "results" here.

And when it comes to LAN cables, what would you recommend a 3-meter cable for the HUAWEI B315s-22 router? I have 2 auctions here. Which one to take? Auction number: 6341233210 or auction number: 5671384683?

Which in your opinion is better and which is better to buy? And if both aren't good, what would you recommend and where can you buy it? Of course, I will ask a link (to the website) to such a cable. I would like a very good LAN cable, 3 meters long.

    Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, I will not check LTEWatch and Toolbox, because I receive errors / messages in both cases. Below is a photo of errors / messages:

How about this CAT.7E Patchcord LAN cable? Auction number: 5771285100. This is S / FTP - each pair of cables is foiled, additionally all cables are in a common mesh screen.

    Cable composition:
    - copper,
    - molded version with strain relief,
    - 50? gold-plated contacts,
    - compliance with EIA / TIA 568 standards,
    - suitable for all patch panels,
    - CAT7 tested up to 600 MHz.

What do you think about "mothers451"? What cable to take? 6 or 7E?

Or maybe KAT.6A from the auction number: 6675590747? Help MOLEX is Mercedes among cables in Poland. This one is shielded.

So which one to choose? What company? Shielded or unshielded?

    Added after 4 [minutes]:
    It is also written that:

There are several variants of network cables. This cable is sometimes called twisted pair and may be in the following version:

    - Unshielded (UTP) - This cable forms a symmetrical line. It consists of twisted pairs of wires. This type of cable is very commonly used in IT connections. There are different categories of this type of twisted pair. For example: category 3 allows data transmission at speeds of up to 10 Mb / s, and category 5 - up to 200 Mb / s.
    - Shielded (STP) - the twisted pair has a shield with grounding and a braid.
    - Foiled (FTP) - the twisted pair has a foil screen with grounding.

There are also hybrid cables that are even more carefully shielded:

    - F / FFTP - a separate foil covers each pair of wires. In addition, all cables are covered with a common foil screen layer.
    - U / FTP - each pair of wires is covered with a foil screen.
    - S / FTP - each pair of wires is foiled, additionally all wires are in a common mesh screen.
    - SF / FTP - each pair of cables is foil and all cables are located in a common foil and mesh screen.

What is the best to take? UTP? STP? FTP? or any of the hybrid ones? How are you doing?

I would take the cheapest one because you won't notice the difference on 3m.
It is important that the tips are well earned ;)

Hi, I add my question. I would like to point out right away that I don't know anything about antennas / routers / modems / frequencies etc. so please answer as for a child.
I have the Huawei E3372 connected to the ASUS RT-N12vD, but I will check it only in the afternoon, if necessary.
My problem is the poor LTE range (3/5 bars), which means that I have a download of 1mb / s during the day. I live in Poznań, Grunwald, but when I go to Bydgoszcz, with the stick attached to my laptop, in a house located some 300-400 m from the antenna, the download speed is already several mb / s, so I conclude that it depends heavily on the range.
So I need a window antenna that would boost my signal to these 5 bars. I found the antennas (including in this thread) but I have a question about the frequency. I plan to use the internet mainly to stream games to my computer and play remotely with LiquidSky (just to play newer games on my old head). The software strongly recommends using a 5ghz link and the router allows it. The antennas that I see for the E3372 modem, however, use the 1700-2100MHz band. My question: does it have any significance and are there 5ghz antennas that will work in this case?

Why do you need a 5GHz antenna, this one is for WiFi from the router. Your Asus RT-N12D does not support 5GHz bands over WiFi. This router has a USB port at all? What version of E3372 is it? No operator, no street in Poznań, LTE signal parameters.

As I said, I was not sure of the router, because I was writing from the phone and the matter is quite urgent. The sticker says that this is an asus rt-ac750 and in the panel I can see that it supports the 5ghz network and I can run it. The Play operator, Szamotulska Street, regarding LTE parameters, I have no idea what to look for. The router has a USB and I have this stick connected to it: https://www.play.pl/telphones/huawei/huawei-e3372-lte/ " target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener ugc" class="postlink inline" title="" > https://www.play.pl/telphones/huawei/huawei-e3372-lte/

But there were different versions of the E3372, s-153, and h-153 on Play, and each as a HiLink or regular version. Those supported by the 192.168.8.1 site are HiLink and those by Play OnLine are ordinary. Do tests with the E3372 directly on your computer. Asus and the LTE modem is a poor solution, especially with the standard version of the modem. Choosing the E3372 for Play is a complete mistake. Szamotulska is a long street, but there are several Play BTSs with a complete set of LTE2600, LTE1800, LTE2100 and LTE800 with their aggregation nearby. The basis is to force specific LTE bands on the modem and check how they work. There are tools for this, but the modem version must be known. Do the test outside on the LTE phone with the Network Cell Info application and Play tab, show the screen from the DATA tab and speedtest. It will show eNB, ECI BTS, band and signal parameters.

It all depends on what time, morning and night I can't complain, but in the afternoon there is a significant drop in speed.
I check on speedtest.pl and from max what I had is about 30 Mbps in the afternoon and in the evening it drops to 10 Mbps.
I also do not have full range, 1 line is missing. it works similar on both cards, but I do not have enough knowledge to accurately assess the quality of this signal. For this reason, I am asking you which network in my region will be better. I have LTE from Plus from what I read on http://beta.btsearch.pl/bts/?network=(R)ion=&standard=LTE&query=mszana+dolna
    Plus ID: BT22536 GSM900 UMTS900, play with the same transmitter Play ID: LIM2004 GSM1800 UMTS2100 UMTS900
The question is which will be better?

What version of E3372 is it? Ordinary or HiLink? The lines do not matter, Play has permits for LTE1800 and LTE2100 on BTS in Mszana. Plus only works on LTE1800Aero2. Show speed tests in the evening of each of these operators. You can check eNB, ECI BTS outside on their cards with the Network Cell Info application.

Hello, I am writing an inquiry that I have a Huawei E3372 modem and a D-Link DWR-116 router and LTE internet in Plus.
What antenna would I have to buy to "catch" the LTE signal? I am currently "catching" one line.

Which BTS would I have to use ??
I live in Ulim, ul. Koralowa 1A, Lubuskie voivodeship

Thank you in advance and best regards.

And this one dash is on what LTE band and what speeds? The equipment is weak, but E3372 probably Hilink, so put it into the USB of the computer and use http://www.lte-anbieter.info/ltewatch/count_huawei.php?Datei=ltewatch_h to force the LTE1800, LTE900, LTE800 and LTE2600 bands one by one and check the speeds and show BTS signal and CID parameters. Similar test with E3372 outside. Plus, in this area, it has BTs at Kostrzyńska 57 in Gorzów and LTE1800Aero2 and LTE800Sferia on it (another half a year). In addition, in Jenin BTS with LTE2600 Plus, LTE1800 Aero2, LTE900 Plus and LTE800Sferia. on this set you will not use the full potential of the network, the E3372 does not aggregate LTE bands and this crazy DWR-116 supports modems in RAS mode, even HiLinks. Choosing this set is a mega failure, worth PLN 50-80. After the tests, the selection of the antenna for the selected band. Theoretically the fastest LTE2600 and LT1800 with 20MHz in MIMO2x2 and DL up to 150Mb / s, but the weakest range on them and the speeds depend on the load. LTE900 is 5MHz and DL up to 37Mb / s, same as LTE800Sferii. As a rule, clogged and not worth attention. Until when do I stay in Plus?
