Hi There
Again because google chrome is such bad software crashing all the time, because my pc is too safe and she can not spy with than commercial trash.
I have included a pdf of a double forward converter who is a very good zsv welding with phase shift.
However I have to find out how the gates of the igbt has to be driven, it is sure not the same as a single forward or a full bridge, the leading legs are phase shifted the lagging not, special about this topologie is that shoot through and destroy igbts is not possible because of the diodes in emitters, also the kill spikes of high voltage as I did read so very nice it also has a very wide soft switching.
Maybe you guys can help me to find out how to drive the mosfets in the pdf what is included.
I have done a safe shift full bridge, but it is very easy so blow up, needs wide dead time special at high current, and has shoot through possibility.
Here some sims of what I have done, a welder inverter for mig/mag, and can be used also for mma and tig with a simple change of kind of feedback with a extra current pot with voltage pot on max or vice versa.
These has nothing to do with question but I needed voltage feedback and a pwm comparator feedback is most stable and best one for welding inverters.
pdf is in attachment.
For what the transformer and use of copper band instead of copper wire, do this work better? not a problem with high frequencies and capacitance between windings, I did hear that copper strip do work fine, for what concerns skin effect two paralleled band copper strip can do make a nice transformer who cool better also.
thanks for help.
regards
