Hello, my problem with the coffee machine is as follows: after switching on it displays ( carry out descaling ), I proceed to descaling according to the instructions (DeLonghi original descaler) and the problem begins - the liquid in the reservoir runs out, the pump runs for a while more and shuts off, the display shows the message pour descaler and press OK, and so on and so forth. I have decalcified the machine several times and the same thing happens again and again. The coffee machine works like this normally without any problems. Perhaps someone has had a similar problem or knows how to remedy it? I haven't reset because I don't know how to do it, I'm afraid it might not help. Thank you in advance for your help and best regards.

Hello, the coffee machine after a little tapping with my hand started to finish from the stonework and it is ok, it is possible that something is suspended or it is possible that there is cold solder, (I have not disassembled !)

Hello after dismantling it turned out to be a loose water level sensor plug. It is OK.

Hello , I have the same problem as in the topic, I am thinking of replacing the tank, but what can be damaged in such a float?
I'm not getting around to taking it apart to check the sensor for now because I don't know where to start, is it difficult?

I replaced the tank, and everything is back to normal. The magnet that is in the float has become demagnetised over the years of use and the sensor does not react as it should

I have a problem with decalcification after 2 days, I think the processor sends information on how many coffees to decalcify.

Hello I received a coffee machine that was not completing the descaling procedure.
I replaced the water tank and the problem was solved.
The interesting thing is that during coffee making the machine detected a lack of water but during descaling it hung up.
After removing the housing, you can attach a magnet to the water volume sensor and it will also complete the descaling process.
    Regards

Hi. It is like this at my place. The machine shows the descaling icon. I follow the video and so, with the machine switched off, I press the coffee icon and the steam and rinse icon lights up. Then I take out the water container and pour in level B. Now I take the tray out and while I am doing this, all the lights go out and the grounds indicator lights up.When I take the tray out, the grounds indicator lights up and nothing else lights up. I know that if I decalcify the machine, the indicator light will not go out and a red triangle will come on.

    Good morning
    Please try the following
With the coffee machine switched on, press P and search for decalcification and try it this way
    Best regards

. If someone likes to tinker it's not difficult.

Topic summary

The DeLonghi ECAM23.460 coffee machine is experiencing issues completing the descaling process. Users report that after initiating descaling with the original DeLonghi descaler, the machine fails to finish, displaying messages to add descaler and press OK. Common causes identified include a faulty water level sensor or float, which may not detect the water level correctly. Solutions suggested include tapping the machine to dislodge any obstructions, checking and securing the water level sensor plug, or replacing the water tank if the float magnet has demagnetized. Some users have successfully resolved the issue by replacing the tank or manipulating the water volume sensor. Additional troubleshooting steps involve following specific button sequences to reset the descaling process.
