    Which plastic pipes are best for high-temperature CO installation? Which ones can stand cooking the longest?

    Can PEX-Al-PEX bolted joints be twisted and unscrewed many times? Do you need to replace an o-ring, a piece of pipe or maybe even the entire fitting with every twist?

    Radiation cross-linked pexc pipes are the most resistant. Pe-HD and PERT are weaker, so they are often used for outer layers. The method of producing pipes is also of great importance, whether the alu tape is butt-welded (best) by laser, welded, overlapped and crimped, and the adhesive joining the individual layers. So the claim that all alupexes are the same and differ only in price is ... worth it.
    Especially with twisted connectors, I would recommend better grades, as pert and hd tend to flow under the influence of long-lasting force, which can weaken the connections. I use weaker and cheaper types only with the investor's full awareness, only for underfloor heating. It has low parameters and connections only at the distributor.
