    Good morning!

Some time ago I opened the battery cover of the toy remote control. Unfortunately, it turned out that 2 batteries had spilled and the sediment stuck to the springs and plates. I am asking for advice on how to get rid of it ;)

Scratch it, wash with warm water and washing-up liquid, e.g. for dishes, rinse, dry, preserve e.g. with technical petroleum jelly!

Alcohol and, for example, a hard bristle brush or toothbrush ;)
If the corrosion has already entered, you will not save and you would have to replace the battery contacts.
After cleaning, you can pour WD40 on it and maybe the corrosion will not pass to the batteries or you will take them out when not in use :)
