Gentlemen, I got a LenovoG505s laptop on the LA-A091p board has a charging problem. The guest brought 2 batteries, one in the system does not see the other, but there is a message "connected, not charging" I disassembled these two batteries, they are L12M4E01 type, both of them were deeply discharged, one packet had 6.6V, the other had 4.4V. That's why I told the visitor to buy a new battery, he said he would buy the original. The battery came to me but the laptop does not start charging
. The orange charge lamp flashes then goes off after one minute. There is a message under the system "connected, not charging" . I wanted to check the date of production of the battery, but the seal is stuck on, I don't know if not especially.
I have 0V on the battery sheets, but I read on the forum in the guide that there are different batteries, one has a direct output, the other is turned on as they "talk" to KBC.
I would like to add that on a new battery, the laptop without power supply does not turn on.
All the batteries are original Lenovo, unfortunately the new one, I cannot disassemble and check the voltage on the cells.
When powered from the power supply, the battery strips are +/- 5.7V
Under the Batterymon program (new battery) I have the following reading:
Status: AC POWERED
Manufactured: SIMPLO
Device name: Pabas0241231
Serial Number: 41167
Unique ID: 41167
Time remaining: AC power
batt temp: N / A
Type of use: Normal operation
Recharable: YES
chemistry: LiON
Design capacity: 0Wh / 0mAh
Current Capacity: 0Wh / 0mAh
Alert Level: W: 0 / L: 0
Critical Bias: None
Charge cycles: N / A
Voltage: 2.436V
Charge rate 0mW
Gentlemen, what else can be checked to eliminate the battery defect? Is it damage to the charger circuit?
Regards
Michael
