Hello everyone, this is my first forum post, hopefully in the right section.

Recently, I have internet from UPC, and with it a free START TV package - it's about 20 digitally broadcast channels. I connected the cable to the TCL f40b3804 TV which has a DVB-C decoder and the problem is that I cannot search for channels. As you can see in photo 1, the tuner mode is set to cable -> go to "channels" -> go to "search channels" (photo 2) -> choose "Poland" (photo 3) -> select "UPC" (photo 4) -> I choose "search" (Fig. 5) and a search error pops up. Should I manually enter the frequency, select modulations, and enter the coefficient and grid ID? If so, where to look for these values?

    Please help.

Thanks for the answer. She was helpful, because thanks to her I found out that these values are necessary (I use DVB-C for the first time; I have always flew on terrestrial) and I dig a little more into the internet, thanks to which I found this instruction:

    https://www.msmenergetyka.pl/stegnypd/StrGl/D...wyszukikuje_niekodowani_kanalow_cyfrowych.pdf

From it I learned that in Lower Silesia the frequency is 114MHz and the network ID is 43155. The rest is the same as you gave. It's nice now. I leave the link, because it may be useful for another UPC user.
