Hello.
There is this problem with a central hoover in a detached house. Sometimes it wants to start by itself. It is also triggered by turning on e.g. a light. The cables from the control contacts in the sockets are ok. I have also checked with an inductor to see if there is a puncture from the electrical system. Could it be induction from electrical cables running too close? When I switched off the electricity throughout the house at the fuses outside in the box and applied voltage from an extension cord connected to a neighbouring house everything was ok. All I had to do was switch on the fuses and the hoover started trying to start again. I should add that the box where the control wires converge and the hoover itself are mounted right next to the electrical distributor inside the house.
