    Hello,

I had problems with the instability of the old D-link dir 300 router, and replaced it with a new TP Link TL-WR843N. The problem is that it is just as unstable. The instability was that in my house about 10 people used the old D-link network, of which 4 were connected with LAN cables to the network, and the rest normally via WI-FI. D-link could crash and stop working out of nowhere, the router was already old so I thought I would replace it. The purchased TP-Link turned out to be equally unstable. And if it worked smoothly yesterday after setting it up and using a guide on YouTube, today it again refuses to obey. And here I come to the conclusion that maybe the problem is the WAN port or modem. Anyway, on my IP page (which I have changed so that there is no conflict of IP interests with the router) I get the error "WAN port is unplugged!" If I turn off the modem and power supply from the router for a while, then after turning it on again, the router will probably work properly for the next hour, after which it will start to fail again. The LED from the WAN port, or if you prefer Ethernet lights up depending on the mood, green (then works), orange (not working), flashes, or is turned off. I tried to replace the Ethernet cable from the modem to the router and it worked for a while and then stopped walking again. I am helpless, which is why I count on your answers. Green color indicates 1 Gb / s link, orange 100 Mb / s.

To begin with, I suggest checking the cable connecting the modem to the router.

Manual / factory modem modem / router cable (encapsulated plug)? by hand enter the colors of the wires on the cable pins (note, none of the wires _NO_ are white, they are either color or white)

How many meters does the cable have?

    Modem model?

Ok, I replaced the cable connecting the modem with the router with a new one. It also changed the ip of the router and I did the automatic configuration again. This time the WAN port is still orange, with two breaks when the green LED was on, but it still couldn't connect to the wifi network. wan2 the photo shows the status with orange, wan3 with green LED. Enter modem model and link provider.

Even if there is no connection between the modem and the router, the computer should connect to the WiFi network.

Ethernet Adapter Model ZCC0181000EU, there are two inputs. Crimp by hand (I think), POE cable, white-color, green-color, yellow-color, blue-color, white-color, orange-color, white-color, green-color. LAN cable white-color, orange-color, white-color, blue-color, white-color, green-color, white-color, burgundy / purple. I was on the roof with a kind of antenna and there from the POE cable protrude as if hair nematodes, and the cable itself has a tiny hole in one place, but it is just a piece of cable that is in my room yet and this hole did not violate any of wires.

    Added after 11 [minutes]:

Does it matter which Lan cable is connected as a WAN (Ethernet) cable? I mean, do LAN cables differ from WAN physically? While I was able to connect directly to my laptop via LAN (WAN) yesterday from the modem and have an internet connection, now it is impossible. I connect the Ethernet cable that I had with the working router to the modem and the laptop and it detects it for me temporarily, not flashing alternately. And I do not know now whether the fault is a modem, a LAN (WAN) cable, a POE cable or a Citylan supplier.

    Added after 50 [minutes]:

Ok, WAN cable, was there Ethernet? The internet provider must be welding again. Regards, topic to be solved.
