    Hello,

the topic was rolled out in several other topics, but usually it was Netia or UPC ablo livebox.
For me, the problem may be identical, but unfortunately I can't handle it.

Asus is easy to configure, i.e. finds a network, connects to it, while after "automatic configuration" and connection with Asus there is a constant lack of internet. Connect, but don't want to connect to the internet.

Does anyone know what the problem may be?

DHCP in the expander enabled, mac filters disabled

I will be grateful for help, because unfortunately the toyota modem / router is bad and unfortunately there is no signal everywhere at home. - the model is Cisco EPC3928

And the modem's current restart was?

    Hey,

like the most, disconnected from the power many times, even for longer than a few minutes.

Cisco works fine because normally I can connect to this network. Connects immediately and seamlessly.

And this is why the repeater is not stable.

    Read the WIFI extension alphabet

Connect the asus to the main router _kablem_ or PLC adapters.

It may not even be about the fact that it is not stable - it doesn't pass through the Internet at all - there is no connection to the Internet right away.

I read, I already do the topic that you sent, as you said, but I do not quite understand what connecting the repeater to the router will give?
You mean that Asus itself has a better antenna and will spread the signal better to me?
When it comes to connecting the asus to the router, I understand that you mean a simple Ethernet cable?

    Yes Yes

Show step by step (screenshots) how you configured the asus.

    I did as you wrote.

I connected Asus with a twisted pair cable to Cisco and more interestingly, after configuring there was an identical problem.
I did a modem and asus restart
I connected again, but I didn't set anything and, surprisingly, without any configuration, Asus transmits the signal and the internet!
And actually, instead of barely one line, I now have four!

    thanks for the help!

    I noticed one more thing

as I wrote, after configuring the AP on Asus there was an identical problem, it did not connect to the internet.

After restart, Asus worked without any settings (without password, of course).

I turned on the second laptop, didn't want to connect through the Asus network at all and immediately dumped it to the Asus page to configure it (weird) - Win 10 vs Win 8

I configured AP mode on this second laptop and surprisingly everything went - the settings worked, and through Asus I can connect to the internet!
    Weird,
can the problem be with the operating system?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around internet connectivity issues experienced with the Asus RP-N12 range extender when connected to a Cisco EPC3928 modem/router. The user reports that while the Asus device connects to the network, it fails to provide internet access despite DHCP being enabled and MAC filtering disabled. Various troubleshooting steps are suggested, including restarting the modem and connecting the Asus directly to the main router using an Ethernet cable. After following these suggestions, the user finds that the Asus extender unexpectedly transmits the internet signal without any configuration, leading to improved connectivity. The user also notes potential discrepancies in connectivity between different operating systems (Windows 10 vs. Windows 8).
