Hello, on the display I have errors on the orange: braking system warning tractor and gearbox warning. It happens that the slack letter N on the display also blinks and then you can not move any gear. The authors show the error: short circuit to ground on connector C4 and / or C5 of the EBS module, wheel speed sensor (C513) - still. And: Unacceptable information about vehicle speed via V-CAN compared to the speed of the show measured by wheel speed sensors - not exactly.
I apologize for the chaotic syntax, but I'm on the road and write from the phone.
Does anyone know what could be the reason?

Hi, the first error is a damaged absu sensor or a beam to it, it is the right front or left wheel I do not remember but the meter can be easily checked, the second error is the magnet drive, the box driver does not get information about the tachograph speed

    Hello,
F 513 front axle sensor right wheel. the sensor can be ok, you have to measure it to find out. she could also rot the absu shield on the hub.

It is an electrical error not mechanical, so the crown falls out, checking the sensor, then the beam for short to ground, you can still check the signal with an oscilloscope after repair

And why sometimes this error box flashes and you can not move the gear? Generally, these errors appear in wet weather and sometimes it is impossible to move.

    Second error:
"Unacceptable information about vehicle speed through V-CAN, compared to the speed of the show measured by wheel speed sensors - not exactly."
as well as problems with the gearbox (no possibility of changing gears and briefly displaying the N symbol) are the result of an error from the ABS sensor.
The system compares the speed of the front wheels with the speed of the wheels from the tacho sensor and via V-CAN2 compares them to each other whether they are compatible.
The problem with the signal of one of the ABS sensors automatically generates such incompatibility hence the error:
"Unacceptable information about vehicle speed through V-CAN, compared to the speed of the show measured by wheel speed sensors - not exactly." And I doubt that a magnet is the cause here. In the digital tachograph, unlike the old analogue tachograph type, the magnet does not unless it will cause a permanent error in the Tachograph from the very beginning of the magnet.
In addition, the AsTronic system uses a speed signal from the front wheels (or, to be more precise, from the steering axle) to determine if the car is not in the bend (because the inner wheel spins slower from the outside), because after detecting that the car is "on the bend" "Astronic will not change gears to higher (because it may cause the car to become unstable). Lack of reliable signal from the ABS sensors of the steering axle is then noticed by the AsTronic system which just ignites the warning on the board.
The problem you most likely have in the installation (water or moisture inside the t-shirts + broken wiring of the sensor leads to a short circuit to ground - water is a good conductor of electricity). Check the sensor circuit for insulation to ground. Settle the sensor as the second one.
Alternatively, the sensor face has rubbed off the rusty hub ring and the water has entered the sensor shell through the sawn face and causes it to short.
    Start by checking the beam

After insulating the broken wires and repairing the thickest cable from the beam, the problem disappeared ?
    Thanks for the help.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around EBS (Electronic Braking System) errors in a DAF XF105 truck, specifically related to braking system and gearbox warnings. The user reports intermittent issues with gear shifting and a blinking 'N' on the display, alongside error messages indicating a short circuit to ground on connectors C4 and C5 of the EBS module, and discrepancies in vehicle speed readings via V-CAN compared to wheel speed sensors. Responses suggest that the errors may stem from a damaged ABS sensor or wiring issues, particularly in wet conditions. The importance of checking the ABS sensor and associated wiring for shorts is emphasized, with one user noting that after repairing damaged wires, the problem was resolved.
