    Hello forum users!

My question, or rather the problem, concerns the steam button on the Bosch TDA 5680 Sensor Secure iron. Namely, you can not use it. After heating the iron to the required temperature, you cannot press it to use the steam function. I admit that I do not use the iron personally ;) but the problem affected me so please help. The iron has never been descaled.

Remove the pump from the iron, disassemble, clean. Be careful not to let the small metal ball fall out, which is under the pump.

    Hello Mr!

Could you tell me how to disassemble this pump? Today I took a closer look at this iron. I connected it to the network, of course, water was poured. After warming up, I noticed that the button can be pressed three times, after which it "hardens" and can no longer be pressed inside (use steam).

Is the back of the iron what I have included in the attachment? If so, then you write about its dismantling. I think there are two end caps there. How to remove them to get further, I think for the screws?

Could you tell me how to remove this top from the handle?

    I am coming back again.

In conclusion, the diagnosis of MARCIN.SLASK proved to be 100% accurate. When I got to the pump, I took it out. It turned out that the shot there (steel ball) was "caught" with a stone. After cleaning it, the steam strike works.

    Thanks again for your help!
