Hello. I have LTE internet from digital polsat. The internet is extremely slow and I would like to strengthen its signal with an external antenna.
I live in the town of Dębówiec, Greater Poland poviat of Gniezno and to the transmitter on the map of transmitters shows me that I have about 6 km. I do not know a bit about this topic and I do not know what antenna I should buy and whether any antenna will help me. I have a huawei b315 router.

Signal strength fluctuates between -61dBm and -70. I am currently using the AK C4 omnidirectional antenna which I bought a few years ago in digital polsat.

Thank you in advance for your help. best regards

And what are your speeds on this LTE with CP? B315 from Plus / Cp works with http://www.lte-anbieter.info/ltewatch/count_huawei.php?Datei=ltewatch_h and https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1978345/E5186/E5186%20Toolbox_latest. rar After logging in to them on B315 they will show you the LTE signal parameters and the BTS data you are using. They allow you to enforce LTE bands. CP uses LTE1800Aero2 and LTE800Sferii. You force LTE1800 and LTE800 in turn and show the screen, you do speedtests. The nearest active BTS LTE1800Aero2 is Spichrzowa 12 in Gniezno. Another at Roosevelt 104. On them also LTE800Sferii. I see that you did not follow previous advice and hoped that the B315 would solve your problems and that the szc called AKc4 would serve as an antenna .. Extending the contract with CP you made a massacre mistake. LTE CP / Plus Internet works tragically in some locations. It's probably the same with you. If the BTSs are overloaded, the antenna will not help. CP / Plus has long been the worst mobile operator.

I forced LTE 1800 one by one and here's the speedtest: Which LTE antenna for Huawei B315 router

and LTE800: Which LTE antenna for Huawei B315 router

These speeds dropped and increased slightly but were usually similar to each other.

In both cases, the connection with BTS at Spichrzowa 12. On LTE1800 the signal parameters are weak, on LTE800 a little better. You should buy the antenna 1.5 years ago. It is generally seen that in both cases BTSs are overloaded (UL> DL). Better results rather on LTE1800Aero2 incline to buy Dual LTE 1800MHz antenna. It will definitely improve the LTE signal parameters but it is difficult to say how it will translate into speed. The directional antenna will also connect to BTS LTE1800Aero2 at Roosevelt, if it works. Maybe it will provide better speed. BTS LTE1800Play and LTE1800NetWorks for Orange and T-mobile also operate at Spichrzowa. Buy Orange starter for PLN 5, register. You will get a 100GB / month bonus and if you provide the address, another 100GB. Check how Orange works. 200GB for 5 PLN is an opportunity. Plus, the Play Pre-paid Internet starter for PLN 9, register and you'll get a 100GB bonus. Check LTE at Play. With this operator you can have LTE internet without limit, without a contract and equipment for 5 PLN / month, already 4 years. What were your reasons for extending your contract at CP? You had E3372 so you could have used this Play offer for 2 beers per month. By when will this contract with CP? Plus / CP is not an operator for this location. And many others. For a long time, he didn't modernize the network, he just sold power like you.

You're right. When I put the ORANGE sim card on which I have a subscription and LTE internet package, the signal strength was 3 lines -85dbm (Digital Plsat has 1 line -69dbm) but on the speed test it showed 15-20mb / s download speed (Polsat 2mb / s). Until tomorrow I can give away this internet and terminate the contract without costs so I will say goodbye for good. Today I will test the internet in PLAY because they have an unlimited subscription package. Can you still tell me if there is a chance that LTE ULTRA from PLAY will work in my area?

There is no subscription at Play, LTE internet without limit so far you can have for 5 PLN / month on a pre-paid RBM card for 5 PLN with unlimited LTE Internet service. It has been operating for 39 months. Costs are ridiculous with own LTE modem / router. 100GB guaranteed with the maximum LTE Play speed available to you. Then a 2Mb / s funnel is possible but in practice and 200GB max. better conditions than in the subscription. LTE range with BTS-a Play at granary 18. Works LTE1800, LTE800 and LTE2100. LTE band aggregation equipment works with LTE1800 + LTE800, i.e. Play LTE ULTRA. For Play tests, use the Play Pre-paid Internet card for PLN 9, after registration, a 100GB / month bonus.

How can I find this free LTE internet service for PLN 5? RBM means red bull mobile is it?

Yes, it's an RBM card for PLN 9 with a can. On it you can enable the Free LTE Internet service every 30 days. Requires top-up for PLN 50 every 100 days, the top-up will be on your account. Alternatively, from 2 months you have to buy [coat 600MB for 5 PLN for LTE to work to the max (this is a voice tariff). There is also a way to have an RBM tariff for Card 5 with an Account Valid Year and then 50 zlotys are not topped up every 100 days. I wrote about it many times here at the Forum.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around improving LTE internet speed for a Huawei B315 router in Dębówiec, Poland, where the user experiences slow internet with signal strength fluctuating between -61dBm and -70dBm. The user currently employs an AK C4 omnidirectional antenna but seeks advice on better options. Responses suggest that the current LTE provider, Digital Polsat, may have overloaded BTS (Base Transceiver Station) connections, which could limit the effectiveness of any antenna. Recommendations include purchasing a dual LTE 1800MHz directional antenna to enhance signal parameters, as well as testing other providers like Orange and Play for potentially better service. Users also discuss the benefits of prepaid plans with unlimited LTE options from Play, emphasizing the importance of testing different SIM cards to find the best performance.
