I am looking for a person / manufacturer who will help me design a sound module for a toy. Specifications are to be agreed (audio playback length / volume control / ability to change melodies etc). I want a mechanism that is easy to use and at the same time having several functions that are desired by the user. Can you advise me where I could turn?

Maybe this will interest you, the layout is quite simple. Doing it on your own will not even be expensive. I bought this HT2887D last year, probably for PLN 1 in AVT.

Thank you for the quick reply. I am a layman and I don't know how I could do it on my own. Can you explain?
I need a mechanism with a plastic housing already. It must also meet specific requirements, i.e. switching the melody on and off with one second button, changing the melody by pressing twice quickly, changing the volume by pressing and holding.

It is possible using a microprocessor.
However, why add additional control to such a simple system, which will not only complicate the system, but you will also have to write a program that will handle it.

    Hello

    http://elm-chan.org/works/sd20p/report.html
Here's a prefab that plays WAV files from an SD card. Max 255 files. The volume control can be done on dedicated SANYO systems, e.g. LM7533. I just don't know how long the battery is enough in such an extensive device. You can add a digital amplifier to the whole, available on Ebay for something like 3 PLN. This is 2x3W.
