[img] [/ img] Mounting a client based on PLAY, I had a nice surprise. I know that PLAY does not provide access to a public IP address, but I was not bothered by knowing that using P2P in BCS would not be a problem.

At the recorder a mobile router Huawei B593 of course with PLAY LTE. On the customer's phone (Android) also Play. The system is installed, preview through P2P on the smartphone made ...

Everything worked for the first 2 days, after which the customer cannot view the cameras. Phone transfer etc. is provided. It turned out that PLAY, seeing this type of traffic, blocked the traffic, which was even confirmed by the consultant (only the second one) that it was actually blocked and it is not possible to unblock this traffic (only on the phone, the router normally lets traffic in). The whole Internet goes, except for the camera view :) In my opinion, such actions should allow the client to terminate the contract without penalty, but the client does not want to play it, and he wants to preview.

I think that creating a VPN should allow such a preview, but I've never done a VPN. Can somebody give you a hint about the VPN for camera viewing? I have a router like I mentioned Huawei B593u, which does not support VPN, I think it should be enough to put between it and the router recorder TP-LINK with DD-WRT, right? and what's next? I also have a VPS server available - can it be useful? I am asking for tips on how to go about it and whether it will work at all?

I hope that at the same time I will also observe others in relation to PLAY, because I have not heard of a similar situation

Nie Play, I also have a problem with p2p clients in BSC / Dahua, which is why I "entered" Hika.

This is Play. Cameras after 2 days stopped charging the customer on the phone with Play. On my phone they charge (T-mobile), I put my card in the phone client - the cameras are charging, the client inserts another card with Plus - the cameras are charging. I provide WiFi from my phone - cameras are charging. The client connects to another access point - everything is going on. It's not just about the customer's phone number (Play). The packages are everything, the internet works quickly (speed test approx. 20mb DL). I called the service and nothing interesting was told to me, only the second time the customer himself called and was told that something was actually blocked on their part and that they would not unblock it. The client couldn't tell me exactly what he had learned, but the consultant just told him to create a VPN ...

Play does not offer a public IP address service, so it will do nothing.

The discussion in this topic has not been going on for over a year and I have the same problem and I wanted to ask if it was somehow solved. Is the preview problem only in the operator because I have no way to test how it is with others. plea.

A few days after installation, it began to work by itself. Of course, I'm talking about P2P

It's hard to say, I had connected the holiday home by PLAY since November last year and it has been working so far and I didn't even know that people have any problems.

Play often does such numbers, you have to best threaten the termination of the contract, then a nice person from the customer support department will ring before the deadline and it turns out that it can be done without problems .... I have been discussing the topic, a friend advised me (and trades play for companies for probably 10 years), the client wrote a notice of fault for play (he indicated specific services and the lack of information about not supporting or blocking services) - two weeks before the deadline indicated in the letter, the customer from the customer support department called and suddenly everything settle, an hour after his statement of withdrawal, suddenly everything started to work ....

Finally, we managed to achieve a preview via mobile internet and not just wifi. The Google Play app setting up a VPN on a smartphone turned out to be helpful. Images from cameras load wherever I am. My configuration is as follows - FritzBox router, USB modem 3g E3131 - 4 cameras 1Mp Standard settings for P2P. Application on the Xmeye phone. Of course, Video sometimes cuts for 1-3 seconds. but you can take it somehow. But the same is like at home I will turn on the WiFi preview where Dowland is at the level of about 5mbs. I think that for framing 3G is to blame on the recorder side or P2P proxy servers.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues with BCS camera previews on Android phones using the PLAY LTE network and a Huawei B593 router. Initially, the system functioned well for two days, but the customer experienced a blockage of camera traffic on their phone, confirmed by PLAY support. Other users reported similar issues with P2P connections, suggesting that the problem may stem from the network provider's restrictions. Some users found temporary solutions, such as using VPNs or switching to different network providers. A user noted that after a period, the P2P functionality resumed without intervention. Recommendations included setting up DDNS on the recorder and threatening contract termination to prompt better support from PLAY.
