    Hello,
I have a Lenovo U300s laptop. Already a few months ago (it shows how long I have been bothering with this problem) the hard disk has fallen.
The disc is custom made for this model. Lenovo, jmicron (disk manufacturer), MEDION (Lenovo service) - no one can help me. The disk can not be found anywhere, and as far as it is possible, the price is from space, for example, 200-300 $ for 128 GB!
Recently, an offer of SSD with adapter appeared on AliExpress and photos that it works. Unfortunately, the shipment from China, the lack of warranty and a highly inflated price prevent me from buying.
However, the disk from those from China is a regular M.2 NGFF, which I can buy on the allegro for PLN 200 (such a price would be great)
The problem is the adapter. The Chinese do not want to sell the adapter itself. So I came up with the idea to create it myself or to have one created.
Here are some pictures showing what I mean:

If anyone knows how to create such an adapter, please help. The laptop has been lying and dusting for several months, and it's a shame about the equipment for over 3,000. zł.
    Thank you and best regards

    Hello,
I made my own adapter. Here is the diagram and my adapter. Be careful, cables are something like KOAX cables. You must first remove the shield and then there is wire.
    Greetings from the Czech Republic

I wrote to the Chinese whether they have a ready adapter with a 14-pin connector from my Lenovo to the M.2 NGFF disk. For now, silence, although someone there made sure what I meant.
If anyone can help me in the subject, I am open to suggestions :)

    Hello,
We just made several Ngff SSD adapters for ideapad u300s, because Chinese had to be made unavailable by yourself.
We used the original 14pin socket desoldered from damaged disks, mounted on the new adapter. According to customer wishes, Samsung 256gb SSDs were installed. Everything works nicely, in addition, you need to remove a piece of plastic in the bottom case the same as in the case of the Ali adapter.
If you are interested please contact me, Regards Marek
