Hello. I have a problem with my Golf 3 engine 1.9 tdi 90 km 1z.

Well, for some time something is knocking. The stops come from where the gearbox is from.

Knocking rhythmically when I let go gas while running on any race.

When I add the gas, the claps are silent. It's okay at ease.

What could it be? Knocking loudly and rhythmically.

Check the oil level in the gearbox, it would be good to unscrew the drain plug and see
is there no filings, checking internal joints.

Yeah, two-thirty in 90-horse Golf 3. A fellow with a fantasy flew. Cushion, or pivot.

Do not argue because you are not right. No 90-horse Golf 3 with 1Z engine, no dual-mass wheel.

Once upon a miracle during assembly, my ring fell and the needles in the inner wrist were scattered

There are no such joints in this.

As far as I know, the two-player has a golf III 110KM, and my 90KM does not.

I have changed the cushion on the chest recently. The knocks stopped for 2 days and then they came back again.
I have not tested joints yet.

I will add that my golf is a bit underlined.
It now has about 125HP and 280 NM.
I changed the injectors from 110 hp and made a chip for these injections. Turbo set at 1.25 bar.

    Hello. Problem solved.
One of the wrists got sand and he broke through it :)

I exchanged two and now there is silence.
In addition, the car generates a lot less vibrations during acceleration :)

    Thank you for the hints.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a rhythmic knocking noise originating from the gearbox area of a Golf 3 with a 1.9 TDI 90KM 1Z engine when the gas pedal is released during driving. Initial suggestions include checking for play in the crank or connecting rod, inspecting the gearbox oil level for filings, and examining internal joints. The user notes that the knocking ceased temporarily after replacing a cushion but returned, and mentions modifications to the engine, including upgraded injectors and turbo settings. Ultimately, the issue was resolved by replacing two worn wrists that had accumulated sand, leading to a significant reduction in vibrations during acceleration.
